Had the tasting menu here on a business dinner. Food was fresh, flavours were clear and distinct. Service was efficient, which was appreciated given the late booking. Price point is on the higher side, but the quality justifies it for this context.

Louise was so lovely and helpful! She gave us all the local tips, even bus times. Made it easy to plan our evening out with friends.

The staff were really nice about us arriving just before closing. They didn't rush us at all, which was appreciated. The service was pretty good and made for a pleasant evening.

Good spot for a relaxed cocktail. Spacious with a decent vibe. Just avoid the seats by the door when it's cold.

The vibe here is really nice. They had some live music playing, and the TVs were on for the game. Just a good, relaxed place to grab a drink and a bite.

The staff were really friendly, especially Molly and Tom. They were so helpful with my dietary questions, checking ingredients carefully for me. It's nice to feel looked after when you're trying to eat well.

Been coming here for years, and the live music on the patio is always a solid vibe. The heaters make it work even when it gets a bit chilly. It's that consistency I keep coming back for.

The burger was the star. Juicy patty, melted cheddar, and a brioche bun that held up. The chips were crisp and well-seasoned. That's what I came for.

Popped in for a pint and ended up trying their own cider. It's really good, fresh and crisp. Staff were nice, even gave us a box for the leftover pizza. Solid spot.

Love a good local spot! The staff here are so friendly, it really makes you feel welcome. Had the fish and chips everyone talks about, and they were spot on. Proper homemade taste, perfect for a casual catch-up with mates. The vibe is just right for a chilled evening.

This restaurant offers a beautiful atmosphere with excellent staff. The food quality is high, and they are accommodating with menu requests, making it a great choice for any meal.

Good spot for a business lunch. Pork belly and steak pie were solid, portions fair for the price. Service was prompt.

Great selection of beers on tap. The live music was a nice touch, really added to the vibe. Staff were super friendly. Found the Wii downstairs a bit random, but hey, it's there.

The Guinness is always spot on here, which is a big plus for me. I also like that they have a few real ales and ciders on tap, like the Black Rat. The rum selection looked interesting too, though I haven't tried it yet.

Multiple TVs in different sections, so you can catch your game. Staff were friendly, vibe was good. A solid spot for sports.

Nice quiet spot compared to the busier pubs nearby. The place is clean and has that old-school pub feel. Good for a quick pint after work.

The mushroom wellington was the star for me. The pastry was flaky and the mushroom filling was so fresh and earthy. A lovely, hearty option for a Sunday lunch. The Guinness was a nice touch too.

Been coming here for years, and the beer selection is always spot on. Love that you can still try a small pour before ordering a full pint. The Brewdog taps are consistently good.

Charcuterie board was insane. The quince jelly? Unreal. Earl Grey Champagne cocktail too. Staff knew their stuff. That's it.

Solid spot for a game. Sam’s a gem—really knew his stuff when I asked about a whiskey to go with the wings. The beer list is decent, though I wish they had a few more local craft options on tap. Screens everywhere, so you won’t miss a play.

Stayed open late for a post-work pint. The atmosphere was decent for that hour, though the beer selection is pretty standard. Handy spot if you're finishing up nearby.

Sunday roast. Yorkshire pudding was massive. Food was hearty, full of flavour. Cozy spot for a traditional pub lunch. Solid.

The Sunday roast pork was spot on, and the portion was huge for one course. The place itself is really cosy, with these big wooden tables and low lighting. It just felt like a proper, relaxed Sunday.

Nice, cosy pub with a good range of real ales. The wood-panelled interior feels warm and classic. Had a decent ploughman's lunch – the cheese was fine, though the bread was a little dry. A solid spot for a quiet pint.

The cocktails here are top-notch. I had a mezcal-based one with a smoked salt rim - really well balanced. The decor is a bit of a mix, but it works, feels cosy and intimate. A solid spot for a proper drink.

Busy night but drinks came quickly. The house red was decent, a bit light for my taste. Good spot for a casual drink after work.

Been here a few times for a pint. The outdoor tables are good for watching the street go by. They usually have a couple of decent stouts on tap, which is nice. A solid local spot.
