Coffee and bagel at Mannheim Hbf. Decent enough for a quick stop. Place was packed though, took a while to get served. Coffee was fine, nothing special. Staff friendly. Good if you're in a rush and need something fast.

The grilled fish was really fresh, and the place has that casual sports bar energy. Just expect a bit of a wait when it gets busy.

The flavors here are really creative—had a scoop of something I’d never tried before. Quality’s solid, though it’s a bit pricey for the size.

The lunch menu is a solid deal, honestly. Portions are generous and the food came out quicker than I expected. I grabbed a veggie curry and it was fresh, not swimming in sauce like some places. Only real downside is the seating, a bit cramped if you're there at peak time. But for a quick, affordable bite, it does the job.

Cozy spot with a fountain patio, and the menu had plenty of vegan options. Baristas were patient with my broken German. Prices felt fair for the portion size.

The monthly pub quiz is such a good time, and the crowd is friendly. Beer list is solid, though service gets a bit slow when it's full. Still a favourite spot of mine.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Place has a nice, relaxed feel and the interior is prettier than expected from the outside. Service was friendly, took time to explain a few dishes. Had the schnitzel, it was decent. Nothing mind-blowing, but solid. Portion was fine for the price. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

The homemade-style dishes were the highlight — that whipped garlic cream with the meat was so good. Service was friendly but drinks took a while, and a couple on the menu weren’t available.

The interior is genuinely nice — high ceilings, good lighting, not too cramped. I had the pad thai and it was decent, though it leans more western than authentic. Fine for what it is. Just wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable, my back started hurting after an hour. Would come back for the vibe, maybe not for a long sit.

The Maultaschen Suppe was solid and the portion felt right for the price. Not a huge bowl but enough to fill you up. Good spot if you want a quick Korean fix without spending too much.

Cozy enough, but the espresso machine gets loud when it’s busy. Staff were friendly though. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Came on a busy Saturday and the food took a while, but the plating was beautiful and the chai latte was a winner. Just be prepared to wait if you're hungry.

The lamb with berbere sauce was really good, tender and spicy. Fit-Fit was decent too, nice for a change. Only thing—takeout box leaked a bit on the way home. Minor, but kinda annoying. Still, I'd grab it again.

The vegan burger here is seriously good—loaded with cheese and that smoky patty. I grabbed a glass of their house red to go with it, worked better than I expected. Place was busy but not chaotic. Would come back for that burger alone.

Tucked away from the tourist crowds, this place nailed the sauerbraten and dumplings. Portions are generous too. Just wish they had more staff on the floor, took a while to get the bill.

The chai latte really stood out — properly spiced, not too sweet. Croissants were still warm, flaky in the right way. Cozy spot, though it got a bit busy around noon.

The play corner saved us — kids were happy the whole time, so we actually got to eat in peace. Food was decent, nothing fancy. Some dishes tasted a bit dry by the evening, but for a quick family stop it worked fine. Free parking helped too.

The beef sandwich was really good—simple but well done. I had the chicken salad too and it hit the spot. Nothing fancy about the place, but it’s comfortable and easy. Prices felt fair for what you get. I’d probably come back if I’m in the area again.

The terrace is really lovely when the weather cooperates. I had a decent meal there, nothing crazy but solid. Just watch out—the bill had a couple of things we didn't order. Took a minute to sort it out. Food itself was fine though.

The crispy duck with coconut cream was the standout. They packed our leftovers without any fuss. Place is big and nicely decorated, though it felt a bit quiet for a weekend.

The pho was solid, and they swapped the proteins for extra broccoli without any fuss. That's exactly what I needed on a short lunch break. Waiter was friendly, didn't hover. Place was busy but I got my bowl quick enough. Just wish the broth was a bit hotter, but honestly, I'd grab this again if I'm nearby.

Tried the Greek flammkuchen for the first time — that thing is loaded with feta and olives, really tasty. Place was busy but we got a table fast. Service was friendly, nothing to complain about. Solid spot if you're nearby and want something easy for dinner.

Loved that they let me mix two flavors in one scoop. Took pistachio with salted caramel — worked surprisingly well. Place was busy but the girl behind the counter stayed patient. One of the better ice cream spots in Darmstadt, for sure.

The schnitzel with fried potatoes was solid, really crispy. Solyanka soup was the highlight though, hearty enough to be a main course on its own. Salad with roast beef was a nice lighter option. Lasagna came out a bit runny, not my favorite, but everything else hit the spot. Decent spot for a casual dinner.

The old building has this really nice vibe inside — they kept the historic structure but made it feel warm and modern at the same time. I sat near the window and the light was lovely. Food was decent too, though I wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price. Still, I'd come back for the atmosphere alone.

Came here on a warm evening and grabbed a table on the terrace—such a nice spot right in Ebertpark. Menu has plenty of options, and what I ordered was really fresh and well made. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the setting kind of makes up for it. Would come back for the outdoor vibe alone. 🌿

Pizza was loaded with toppings and the price felt fair, way cheaper than in the city. Solid spot if you just want a quick bite.

R4 with peanut sauce is still my go-to here. Cheap and fills you up, perfect for a lazy day. Place gets busy though, so don't expect quiet.

The tomato broth seafood was spot on again. Place was packed with locals at dinner, always a good sign. Consistent every time I've been.

Lovely little spot near the cathedral. The salad was really fresh, ingredients tasted properly sourced. Cozy inside, not too touristy.
