Came for the steak. It was cooked just right, juicy and tender. The portion was generous for the price, which is always a plus. Drinks came quick too. Good spot if you're hungry and watching the budget.

Decided to try their Sunday roast. The portion was huge – got the beef and it covered the plate, with loads of veg and a proper Yorkshire pud. Honestly couldn't finish it all. Good for the price, no complaints there.

Been coming here for years, and the car park is always a lifesaver. Never had to circle around looking for a spot, even on busy weekends. Makes popping in for a pint and a bite so much easier.

Popped in for lunch near the city wall. The steak and cheese sandwich was a real find—the bread was toasted just right, and the cheese was properly melted. My friend’s crispy chicken, bacon, and avocado one looked great too. A solid little spot.

The chicken curry was spot on, and that giant Yorkshire pudding with steak was a proper treat. Portions are huge, so come hungry!

The pork knuckle here is something else. Crispy skin that shatters, meat underneath that's still juicy and falls right off the bone. That's the only reason I'd drive out this far.

The portions here are huge! Got the shepherd's pie and it was so filling, really hearty food. Good for when you're just after a proper, no-fuss meal.

Popped in for a drink after work. The place has a good vibe, well-run for sure. I had their house red, a nice little Sangiovese that went down a treat. Staff were pleasant, and I have to say, the loos were absolutely spotless.

The Madri at £3.25 during happy hour is the main draw. It's a decent pint for the price, cold and poured well. The snooker tables are a nice bonus, but honestly, I'm just here for the beer.

A decent pub with a good choice of beers at fair prices. The outdoor seating is pleasant, though it can get a bit busy.

Loved stumbling upon this local pub during our stay. The live band was a total surprise - no cover charge, just a great vibe on a Tuesday night. We grabbed a couple pints and stayed for the whole set.

Booked online, easy. The staff were so lovely and friendly, really made us feel welcome. Food came out quickly and the menu had plenty to choose from. A nice spot for a casual meal.

Been coming here for years. Their Sunday roast beef is always spot on, and they know how to do a proper gluten-free plate. Gravy's top notch. It's a reliable spot for a decent lunch.

Came with friends and we split the giant Yorkshire pudding special. It was massive! The roast beef inside was so tender, and the gravy was perfect. We were all stuffed afterwards, but in the best way. Great for sharing.

Been coming here for years for their Sunday roast. The Yorkshire puddings are always spot on - proper homemade ones, never a letdown. That's the main reason I keep coming back. The sides are decent too, you get a good choice.

Booked last minute. The food was spot on – my steak was cooked perfectly, hot, and the portion was huge. Staff were friendly, made you feel welcome. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Paige was lovely, really friendly and professional. The lager was spot on, poured perfectly and ice cold. Just what you want on a warm evening.

Nice spot for a drink. The view of the harbour is the main draw, really lovely on a sunny afternoon. Staff were friendly, place had a cozy feel. Just what I was after.

The portions are huge for what you pay. Got the shepherd's pie and it was a proper, hearty plate of homemade food. Felt like a proper meal.

Came here on a whim and Vicki was so lovely. She recommended the truffle arancini as a starter and it was spot on - crispy outside, really creamy inside. A nice little find.

Love the quirky old building, feels like a cosy hideaway. Had the roast beef and pork dinners, portions were just right. Dessert was a bit smaller than the menu made it seem, but still tasty. A nice spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

A local tipped me off about this pub. Staff were really friendly. The outdoor area looks like it’ll be great in summer.

The pizza was the star - a perfectly thin, crisp crust with a generous amount of fresh mozzarella. The atmosphere was buzzing, and the staff were genuinely friendly. A solid spot for a casual dinner.

Such a great spot to meet up with friends! They're super dog-friendly in the town centre. The staff were so sweet to my pup, even brought her a little treat. Really nice, relaxed atmosphere for a catch-up.

Staff were really welcoming, especially Kaj. He made us some great off-menu cocktails based on what we like. Made the whole evening.

This place is a proper hidden gem. Loved the steak wrap, it was a great meal. The space feels really cosy and unpretentious, perfect for a casual drink with friends.

Live music on the weekend really made the vibe. The landlady was super friendly, and the drinks didn't break the bank. Just a nice, easy spot for a pint.

The QR ordering made breakfast super quick before our day out.

The asparagus risotto was the standout. You could really taste the freshness of the asparagus, and the texture was spot on. The roast that followed was good, though I found the gravy a touch salty for my taste. A solid Sunday option for those who appreciate good ingredients.
