We celebrated Christmas Eve in Komyunity. It is in the center of Porto in very nice hotel. Place was nicely decorated with friendly stuff and very cozy atmoshere. We felt as dear guests there. There was a buffet with portuguese food and wine. Everything was fresh prepared with wide variety of items. Starters were delicious as well as goat, bacalhau and beringela parmiggiana main courses. The only thing I missed was the lack of live music, it was a holiday after all. Highly recommend the Komyuniti.

Small family place, nothing fancy. The pork and clams were proper, like something you'd get at a friend's house. House red was decent and didn't break the bank. Only thing, the bread was a bit hard. But the vibe was warm, felt like a real neighborhood spot.

Stopped by for a late afternoon bite—francesinha hit the spot, rich sauce, proper layers. Place itself is gorgeous, those stained glass windows really catch the light. Had a glass of Douro red with it, worked well with the whole thing. Service was friendly enough, though they took their time. Classic Porto spot, no complaints.

The picanha was decent for the price, and the house wine did the job. Nothing fancy, but it's a reliable spot when you just want something quick and easy.

Stumbled in without expecting much, ended up staying longer than planned. The owner was genuinely nice, even handed me a little something at the end. The show gave a decent peek into local culture, nothing too touristy. Service was attentive without hovering. Only thing—it got a bit busy later, but that’s on us for staying.

Grilled sardines were so fresh, and that Ribeira view from the terrace? unbeatable 😍 service was a bit slow but whatever.

Grilled chicken plate was huge, easily fed two of us. Rice was surprisingly good. Just watch out for the extra bread/olives charge.

We ordered the hake and pork dishes — the hake was really fresh, nicely cooked. Portions were generous, we couldn't finish everything. Felt like good value for what you get. Nothing fancy, but solid meal.

Breakfast spread was solid, fresh stuff everywhere. Lunch pasta missed the cream though, kinda meh. Service kept it friendly 😊

Came hungry, left stuffed. Portions are massive, the grilled fish was spot on. Service was quick and friendly, no complaints there. Place gets busy around 8, so come early if you want a quiet table. Solid spot for a proper meal without breaking the bank.

The seafood congee was packed with prawns, octopus, and cod—so comforting for the price. That older waiter? Total charm. 🥣

Been coming here for a while now. The fried sardines are always spot on, never greasy. Small menu but they do it right. House wine is decent too.

The leitão was spot on—crispy skin, juicy meat, that sauce is killer. Not pricey either. Just point at the menu if you don't speak Portuguese. Cash only, so bring some. Pair it with vinho verde, done.

Stopped here for lunch after walking along the river. Got the bacalhau and it was proper homemade, not fancy at all. Portion was huge, could barely finish. Family running the place were really friendly, made me feel at ease. Simple food but done right. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The calzone was solid and filling, and the price felt right for what you get. A nice glass of red would've made it even better.

Came for the francesinha and the puff pastry version really stood out to me. Sauce was rich, filling generous. Regular one was hearty as well. Ingredients tasted fresh, which I always appreciate. Maybe a bit heavy for my usual taste, but it hit the spot.

The Angus picanha was spot on, really juicy. Chocolate mousse to finish hit the right note too. Terrace is nice if you can grab a seat.

The francesinha was solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Place gets busy with locals, so expect a wait. Worth it for the chill vibe though.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a glass of their house red while waiting. Honestly, the wine was the right call—went well with the bacalhau. Service was quick, no fuss. Prices fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, but solid if you want straightforward Portuguese food without the tourist markup.

The grilled octopus was the only thing that mattered to me. Perfect char, tender inside, salty enough. Didn't care about anything else on the table. Maybe a bit pricey for the portion, but I'd order it again. That's it.

The staff were really friendly and took time to explain the menu. Octopus was the best I had in Portugal, no question. Seats were comfy too, which always helps.

Tiny spot, but that presunto sandwich really delivers. Thinly sliced, proper flavor. Staff stayed friendly even when it got packed.

Loved the focus on small producers. Did a Port tasting and left with a 30-year-old bottle—prices felt fair for what you get.

The moelas were really good, proper old-school Portuguese cooking. And the pataniscas came out crispy, not greasy at all. Prices are honestly hard to beat for this area. Place is pretty basic inside, nothing fancy, but the food does the talking. I'd go back just for those dishes again.

Came here for the grilled fish and honestly, the freshness got me. You literally pick your fish before they throw it on the fire. I had the sole, filleted right at the table—so buttery and light. Just wish they had more veggie sides, felt a bit plain otherwise.

Lovely little spot with great coffee and a friendly dog wandering around. Service is always warm, makes you want to come back.
