The beer's really good here, and they brew their own now which is nice. It feels like the place is getting back to how it used to be. The seats were comfortable for a longer stay, which I always appreciate.

The staff recommended the cream cake, and honestly, it was the best I've ever tasted. Just popped in for a quick bite and left really happy. The service was spot on, too.

Generous portions and the food was pretty good. Service was fine, if a little slow.

The smoked salmon pizza was a real treat. Freshly baked, delivered still warm. Toppings felt creative, not the usual suspects. Made a quiet Friday night in feel a bit more special.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are always huge. Never feel like I'm getting short-changed, which is a big plus for me.

The fish and chips were lovely, the batter was so light and crispy. But the real star was the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. You could tell it was made with really fresh, quality ingredients. A nice, simple finish to the meal.

Fine quality food served quickly and pleasantly. This is hard to do in a theatre restaurant but the Brasserie achieves it.

The lighting was just right, soft and warm. It felt like a quiet corner in the city. The staff were kind, not hovering. A nice spot to unwind for an hour.

The fish and chips are a real treat! The batter is super crisp and the fish is always fresh. My go-to lunch spot in Brighton.

First time here and the paninis are really good. Got the one with prosciutto and mozzarella, the bread was perfectly crisp. Service was friendly and quick.

The vibe is smart but relaxed, perfect for a casual meal with friends. I did find the portion sizes a bit on the smaller side for the price, though. Just something to keep in mind if you're really hungry.

Took my granddaughter here for lunch. She was thrilled with the toys, so we could relax. The drinks were spot on – a crisp white wine that paired nicely with the light pasta we ordered. A solid, family-friendly spot.

Been coming here for years. Mark and Holly always make the private room feel so relaxed, which is why we keep booking it.

The shakshuka hash with halloumi and avocado was a real treat. The homemade garlic bread was perfectly crispy for dipping. I had a glass of a medium-bodied red with it, and the pairing worked surprisingly well. A solid brunch choice.

The sharing platter's meats were really fresh. The hummus especially had that just-made taste.

Had a mix-up with my order, but they sorted it out right away. Good to see they actually listen when something's not quite right.

The ackee and saltfish here is a real find. The ackee was soft and buttery, the saltfish flaky and not too salty. It just works together perfectly. Could easily be my regular order.

Quick bite before work. Chorizo eggs were solid, good flavour. Staff were nice, even brought water for my dog. Sausage in a cup was a cute touch. Got my order in and out fast, which is what I needed.

The BBQ pork baguette is a solid quick bite. Good portion, comes with nachos. Got it in under 10 minutes, perfect for a lunch break.

The hummus starter was lovely, really creamy and the bread was fresh. The mint tea afterwards was a nice touch. Just a shame the chairs are a bit hard for a longer sit-down meal.

Sam and the team surprised us with a birthday song on the guitar. It was a really nice moment, made the whole evening.

Decent spot right by the station, very handy. The food was pretty good, though the portion was a bit on the small side. It has a nice, cozy feel to it.

The focaccia sandwiches are the move here. Grabbed the chicken one with pesto and chilli jam. Bread was really fresh, and the jam gave it a nice little kick. Solid lunch spot.

Decent value for a tasting menu. The scallop course was particularly well executed. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Good option for a business dinner near the financial district.

The Cuckmere Inn offers a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff, making it a great spot for a meal. The food is consistently excellent, and I can't wait to return during the day to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

A proper local cafe. The food is wholesome and comes out quickly. It’s a popular spot for walkers and cyclists on the coastal path.

I was impressed with the variety on the menu, catering to different diets. The steak I had was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing!

The coffee was a proper surprise, honestly. It's the closest I've found to the stuff back in Melbourne. Just sat there with my flat white for ages, people-watching. Really hit the spot.

First time trying jellied eel here. It was actually decent! Grabbed some whelks and prawns too. Good spot for a quick seafood bite.

The cocktails are a real highlight. The Purple Rain was a lovely surprise, not too sweet at all. I'd go back just for that. The Pina Colada was nice too.
