A nice little cafe just off the promenade. The coffee was really good, and it had a decent local crowd. Staff were friendly. It did get a bit busy, so finding a table took a minute.

Good spot for a business meeting. Had the afternoon tea on the balcony - decent sandwiches, scones were a good size. The view over the square is a plus. Service was efficient, which is what I needed.

Came across this vegetarian cafe while visiting. The walk was fine, and the food was pretty good – simple and decently priced. We shared a few dishes, which was nice.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The chicken curry was simple but really well done, tasted fresh. Staff were quick and friendly, which is nice when you're in a hurry. Prices are fair.

Been coming here for years. Always grab a panini by the river, and the castle view never gets old.

The build-your-own breakfast was a lovely idea. My eggs were just right, and the bacon had that perfect crisp. It felt like a proper, cosy start to the day.

Nice latte here, really smooth. Sat outside and it was a perfect spot to enjoy it. They use local flour for their pastries, which is a nice touch. Also picked up some of their chocolates to take home.

The almond croissant was spot on. They had a nice selection of wines by the glass that paired well with the savoury pastries.

The cheese and black pepper scone was lovely, and the pot of tea for £2.80 is such a steal.

The bagels are really good, we were still thinking about them days later. I liked how comfortable the seating was, it made for a relaxed breakfast. Good value for the quality you get.

The hazelnut latte here is a real treat, one of the better coffees I've had. The cups and teapots they use are lovely. It's a nice spot for a quiet morning.

Been coming here for years, the coffee's always spot on. Their pistachio croissant is the real deal, flaky and not too sweet. Just a solid local spot.

The coffee was spot on, rich and smooth. Staff were super friendly, which made it a nice spot to unwind. The place itself has a quirky, cosy vibe that I really enjoyed.

Grabbed a quick lunch here. Ordered the chicken sandwich and chips at the counter, came out fast. Sandwich was fresh, chips were properly crispy. Simple but tasty. Just what I needed.

Stopped in after a long bike ride, really needed a comfortable spot. The outdoor seating was lovely, plenty of space to relax. The staff were so friendly and made it a very easy, pleasant stop. I’ll definitely be back.

Been coming here for years, and the coffee's always spot on. That's what keeps me coming back. The cakes look tempting, but honestly, I'm just here for that reliable cup. It's my go-to spot when I need a proper coffee fix.

Such a fun 50s vibe here! The jukebox and the old posters really set the mood. Staff were super friendly and chatty, made us feel right at home. A proper little find.

Been coming here for years, and those Korean fried chicken frumpets are the reason. Always crispy, juicy, the seasoning is spot on. It’s the one dish I know I can count on every single time. The rest is fine, but I’m here for those.

The bacon baps were spot on. Sausage rolls are on the smaller side, but the flavour is really there. You can taste the quality of the local ingredients.

Coffee comes in these Huskee cups, made from coffee husks. Nice touch, feels good to hold. The rest is pretty standard for the area.

The back garden is a nice spot. Sat there for a coffee and a slice of their lemon drizzle cake. The cake was good, moist with a sharp icing that wasn't too sweet. A bit pricey for the slice size though.

They had water bowls and dog biscuits by the door, which was a thoughtful touch. My spaniel appreciated it after the walk. The wine list was decent, found a nice Pinot Noir that went well with the steak. A solid spot if you're out with the dog.

Quick service and good prices, perfect for grabbing a coffee and catching up with a friend.

A nice spot to bring my pup. The frappes are good, but I really appreciate that they have some lighter options on the menu. Noticed they use fresh berries in the smoothies, which is a plus for me.
