Been coming here for years. Always grab a panini by the river, and the castle view never gets old.

The build-your-own breakfast was a lovely idea. My eggs were just right, and the bacon had that perfect crisp. It felt like a proper, cosy start to the day.

Nice latte here, really smooth. Sat outside and it was a perfect spot to enjoy it. They use local flour for their pastries, which is a nice touch. Also picked up some of their chocolates to take home.

The almond croissant was spot on. They had a nice selection of wines by the glass that paired well with the savoury pastries.

The cheese and black pepper scone was lovely, and the pot of tea for £2.80 is such a steal.

A solid spot for Portuguese food. The portions are generous, which makes the pricing fair. Had the grilled sardines and they were fresh, well-prepared. Good option if you're nearby and want a straightforward meal.

The flat white is my go-to here, always spot on. Loved the outdoor area with my friends - we could choose between sun and shade easily. The clean loo with pretty tiles was a nice touch too.

The full English here is the real deal. Proper sausages, black pudding, the works. The huevos rancheros had a great kick to it too. You pay a bit more, but you can taste it in the ingredients. Solid spot for a proper breakfast.

Nice spot for a weekend brunch. The full English was pretty good, and I appreciated the vegan option too. Portions were decent for the price. Coffee was just fine, nothing special.

The broccoli and stilton soup was spot on. The bread roll with it was cold though, felt like it came from a packet.

Got the chicken, bacon, and avocado toastie. For a fiver, it was a decent size and really hit the spot. The salad and slaw on the side were fresh, not just an afterthought. Good lunch for the price.

The breakfast is made fresh to order, which I really like. My eggs and toast arrived piping hot, and the portion was generous for the price. A solid spot for a proper cooked breakfast.

Great spot for a casual brunch with friends, and they've got solid gluten-free options.

Love their coffee, always hits the spot. Got lucky and snagged a cinnamon swirl early on Saturday - it was still warm! Perfect for a quick catch-up before the day gets going. They do run out of pastries fast though.

Stumbled upon this spot and tried their bacon cheeseburger. Honestly, for the price, the portion was a bit on the smaller side. The patty was decent though, and the chef popping out for a quick chat was a nice touch.

Great little spot in Eastbourne. The session is a solid deal at £7.50 for over an hour. The food was nicely done, simple but tasty. Drinks were good too.

Loved the garden seating! The vegetarian platter was really good, and the homemade falafels were a hit. Perfect spot for a long catch-up with friends. The tea in those cute little pots was a nice touch. Service was lovely and friendly.

Food was tasty and the staff were nice. I liked that it wasn't too pricey, felt like a good spot to catch up with a mate. Tables were clean and spaced out, which was a plus.

Been coming here for years. Adam’s always on it, remembers my usual order. Food’s out quick, no fuss. Makes a busy day easier.

Love the vibe here, tucked away from the main strip. The jacket potatoes are spot on, really comforting. Prices are decent for the area. Just a nice, simple spot.

Booked a table for lunch with friends and it was just right. Cosy vibe, not too loud so we could actually chat. Got the grilled cheese and it was proper good. A bit of a wait for the food but we were catching up anyway. Would come back for a casual catch-up.

The staff remembered my usual order! Such a nice touch that makes you feel welcome. Great for catching up with friends.

Been coming here for years, and the coffee never disappoints. It's always spot on, exactly how I like it. That's what keeps me coming back. A solid, reliable spot for a quick caffeine fix.

Been coming here for years. The Korean vegan bibimbap is always spot on, just the right warmth and flavour. It's that kind of reliable comfort food that keeps me coming back. A real gem in Lewes.

Popped in for a coffee and ended up staying for cake. The staff were really nice, and the chocolate slice was spot on. Just a good, simple spot.
