Popped in for a late dinner. The sea bass was spot on - skin nice and crispy, fish itself was tender. Decent sized portion too. Staff were friendly, didn't have to wait around for anything.

Love the fresh fish counter concept. You pick your own seafood, which is a nice touch. The oysters were spot on, really fresh. Lobster was decent too. Makes the meal feel a bit more personal.

From the moment we were shown to our table, until the time we left, the staff were attentive and friendly. When attending the carvery, the chef gave us a generous portion of meat and there was a lavish array of hot, fresh, vegetables.

The cocktails here are a real standout. Had the "Cardiff Fog" on the heated terrace last night - really clever mix of flavours, perfectly balanced. You can tell they put thought into the drinks.

The fish and chips were spot on. The batter was light and crisp, the chips were proper thick-cut and fluffy inside. The mushy peas had a good minty kick. That's what I come for.

Amy was so on it with my nut allergy, double-checked everything with the kitchen. Really put my mind at ease. The Sunday roast was huge and tasty, no complaints there!

Lovely meal once again. Had the chicken for a change, it was beautifully moist and tasty. I always enjoy my meal here. The staff are lovely too and it's good service.

A solid spot for a sunny afternoon. The beer list is decent, and the staff were friendly enough. Could use a few more local craft options on tap though.

First time here on a busy Saturday. The music was good, service was actually pretty quick considering the crowd. Prices were okay for a special event day, not too crazy. I'd come back.

The staff here are always friendly and attentive. Quick to refill drinks and check on orders. Makes the after-work pint very efficient.

The outdoor space at this neighborhood pub is a fantastic addition, making it a great spot to relax with friends. The air conditioning is a nice touch too!

The Brewhouse Bird sharing box is decent for a group. Good amount of food for the price. Service was a bit slow on a busy Friday night, but they handled it.

Good place to catch the game. Loads of screens, so you won't miss a thing. Had a couple of decently priced pints while watching. Solid for that.

It does get busy, but the tables are spaced nicely so you don't feel packed in. A relaxed spot for a quiet meal.

The team was really nice and on it. My order got mixed up a bit, but they sorted it out super fast and were still smiling. Made the whole thing chill.

GFC burger is solid, well-seasoned chicken and good portion. Loaded fries are decent, toppings change weekly.

The bottomless brunch portions were generous, and the house rosé was a surprisingly good match for the eggs benedict.

Nice quiet spot for a Saturday lunch. The building is easy to get into, and the disabled loo is right by the entrance.

Been coming here for years, and their Sunday roast is always spot on. The chicken and beef are consistently hot, and the veg selection is generous. It's just a reliable, solid meal every time.

Came for a quick lunch, got the fish and chips. Portion was huge, honestly could have shared it. The chips were proper thick cut. Felt like decent value for what you get.

The hanging kebab was a fun presentation. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted.

The food here is amazing and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a good meal without breaking the bank.

The steak was exactly medium-rare as I asked. The peppercorn sauce was rich and had a nice kick. Veggies were crisp and well-seasoned. A solid, straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years, and the burger deals on certain days are still a solid reason to swing by. Portions are generous, which is nice. The kids' menu is a decent size too, keeps the little one happy. It's just a reliable spot for that.

Food came quick and tasted good. Drinks were decently priced, especially for the city centre. Not a bad spot to grab a bite.
