The coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but the beans had a nice nutty flavour. I'd probably ask for an extra shot next time.

The pistachio croissant was the star for me. Perfectly flaky, with a generous, not-too-sweet filling. The lemon drizzle cake was good, moist and tangy. Good to see unsweetened soya milk on offer too.

The strawberry milkshake was really good. I liked that the booth seats were comfortable and cushioned, made it easy to just sit back and relax for a while. A nice, simple spot.

Best coffee in Cardiff, hands down. Quick and friendly service too. Perfect for a fast morning pick-me-up.

Lovely spot for a coffee break at Insole Court. The outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day. Had a slice of their lemon drizzle cake - really moist and just the right amount of tang. ☀️

A nice spot for a coffee. The vegan cronuts are pretty good, and the muffins are decent too. It's a bit on the pricey side, but a fine place to stop by.

A solid spot for halal food. The grilled chicken sandwiches were really good, kids loved them. The staff were so nice, even gave the little ones free marshmallows.

The owner was so lovely, took a moment to chat about their coffee sourcing. You can really tell they care about the quality of the beans. It's a nice touch that makes you appreciate the cup more.

The manager and staff here are genuinely warm and attentive. It's a nice change from the usual chain cafe feel.

Nice spot near the castle. Roadworks outside, but quiet inside. Had a hot chocolate and a pastry. Good for a quick break.

The white chocolate mocha here is lovely. I really appreciate that they use a good quality white chocolate, you can taste the difference. It's not overly sweet, which I prefer. A nice treat that feels a little more considered.

Stopped in for a coffee. The back room is nice, feels like a cosy sitting room with a fireplace. Good spot to just sit for a while. Coffee was alright, nothing special.

Coffee's great, and they're really nice to dogs with free treats and water.

Lovely, peaceful gardens to wander through on a Sunday. The cafe's salad was a real highlight for me – so crisp and fresh, you could tell the greens were just picked. A nice, light option after a stroll. The ping pong tables are a fun touch, too.

The coffee is really good here. Staff are friendly and efficient, which is nice for a quick stop. The breakfast sandwich I had was solid, though the bread could have been a bit warmer. A reliable spot for a casual bite.

Lovely quiet spot. Perfect for a relaxed breakfast when you're near the uni. Just sat with my coffee, watching the light through the window. So peaceful.

Been coming here for years. Portions are still generous, prices fair. Had the steak last night, cooked fresh and tasty as always. Solid spot.

Love that they have so many gluten-free choices. The owner came over to check on us and seemed really clued up about allergies. Nice, relaxed vibe for a neighbourhood place.

The view from the outdoor tables is the real draw here. Sat with a coffee, watching the water for ages. The beach chairs are a nice touch, made it feel like a proper little escape.

The coffee is really good here, fresh and flavourful. Pastries looked nice too, had a tough time picking just one. A decent spot for a quiet morning. The WiFi is a plus, though it did drop out once.

The fresh ingredients in their salads really stood out. A bit pricey for a regular lunch spot, but the quality is there.

Coffee was top. Staff were really on it - heard the hot chocolates were for the kids and made them just the right temp. My two reckon they're the best they've ever had. 👍

Nice spot for a quick coffee break. Dad loved his cappuccino. I grabbed a flat white, solid choice. Good variety on the menu. Service was quick, got my order in no time. Just what I needed.

Lunch spot near the office. Their pizza is authentic, thin crust and good ingredients. Had a Peroni with it. Service was efficient, got the bill quickly. Solid for a business lunch.

My first time here and the coffee was spot on. Exactly what I needed to get some work done.
