Stopped in here after a long day and honestly the vibe was spot on. Low lighting, comfy seats, not too loud. We grabbed the lamb shish and it was decent, though I wish the portion was a bit bigger. Service was quick, which I appreciated. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

Came in without expectations, left properly stuffed. The lamb was spot on, tender and full of flavour. Service kept things moving without hovering. Only gripe, the place got a bit loud by the end. Still, solid feed for the price.

Stopped in for dinner during a work trip. Food was well-presented and the Slovenian wine was a nice change of pace. Family-run spot with a decent vibe. Service was fine, nothing to complain about.

The leek and potato soup here is still as good as the first time I had it. Fresh bread on the side, proper comfort food. Staff remember you after a few visits, which is nice.

The mixed platter for two was a solid start—everything on it tasted fresh. Meat in the mains was properly tender too. Just watch out, portions are massive. We ordered extra naan and totally didn't need it.

The seafood tagliatelle was the star of the night — proper fresh pasta and plenty of prawns. Bar staff kept things lively too. Service was spot on.

Came here with a big group for a hen do and we had the whole upstairs to ourselves. The waitresses were brilliant, honestly so on top of everything. Two courses and everyone was happy with their food. Just a really easy spot for a celebration, no fuss at all.

The staff were so kind when we arrived with my guide dog. They made sure we had a comfortable table and plenty of space. Really thoughtful service.

Been coming here for a while now, and the Sunday brunch still holds up. Pancakes were fluffy, loads of toppings, and the mini Irish breakfast with coffee included is a solid shout. Not greasy either, which you don't always get. Place gets busy enough, but it's worth it.

The pints were spot on and the food was decent. Staff were friendly enough too. Seats near the window were a bit tight but it's a nice spot to stop in for a quick one.

Lovely spot, staff really looked after us. Portion sizes were decent for the price, didn't feel ripped off. Would happily go back.

Great spot for a catch-up with the girls. Caesar salad was proper good and the scones are unreal fresh. Service was lovely, just a bit of a wait for the food. 😊

The seafood pasta was the real deal—prawns cooked right, sauce had some depth to it. My missus got the beef and it was properly tender, came with decent veg on the side. Portions are fair for what you pay. Service was sound, nothing to complain about. Wouldn't mind going back to try the rest of the menu.

Lovely spot with that old-school charm. Kids were glued to the National Geographic mags while we had our coffee. Pastries were decent, though service was a bit slow. Would pop back in if I'm passing by.

The beef was properly tender, not gonna lie. Menu’s got some creative local stuff on it, and the veggie options actually had flavour, which is rare enough. Service was sound, friendly without hovering. Only thing is the place got a bit loud as it filled up, but that’s on me for going at peak time. Wouldn’t mind heading back for that beef again.

The scones were unreal — still warm and crumbly, exactly how they should be. Afternoon tea here beat anywhere else I've tried. Service was spot on too.

Tucked in an industrial estate, easy to miss. Got the braised rib with curry and saffron rice — proper hearty, well-seasoned. Kids menu was decent too. Service was pretty minimal, but honestly the food carried it. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

That manager fella with the glasses is brilliant. Made us feel right at home, kept an eye on everything. Fair play to him.

We popped in for a late lunch after wandering the gardens, and honestly the setting is the whole vibe. Vincent looked after us really well, super friendly without hovering. The caramel dessert was the highlight for me, so good. It’s pricey, but you’re basically paying for the castle backdrop, which is fair enough. Would come back for a treat. 😊

Great coffee and the pastries looked lovely. Staff were friendly enough, loads of seating too. Solid spot for a quick pit stop.

Stopped in for dinner last week. Place has a nice, relaxed vibe. Service was pretty good, let me sample the wine first which I appreciated. The crab tart was decent, lamb was the better of the two. Risotto was a touch overcooked but still had good flavour. Fine for a casual night out.

The host let us taste a few wines before deciding, which I loved. Ravioli with the slow braised meat was silky, sauce rich. Really nice spot.

Stopped by for breakfast and honestly the staff were the best part. Got a quick reply when I emailed to book, which I wasn't expecting. They were sound at the table too, even brought out a little birthday thing without me asking. Food was grand, nothing mad, but the service made it feel like a nicer spot than what we paid. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped in for a late lunch after a walk around the area. Fish and chips were done right, crispy batter and the fish was flaky. Guinness was a proper pour too, creamy and cold. Place was busy but not mad chaotic. Only thing, took a wee while to get the food out, but sure look, it was worth the wait.

Stopped in for a coffee and ended up grabbing a pastel de nata too. That thing was genuinely good, flaky and not too sweet. Owner was sound, chatted away like we'd known him for ages. Prices are fair for what you get, especially in this area. Might be back if I'm passing.

Asked them to hold the cinnamon in one dish, allergy thing. Chef sorted it no fuss. Got the lamb stew, proper tender. Sauce had real depth, not that watery stuff. Ate every bit. Good spot if you want straightforward, honest cooking.

Came here for a work thing and honestly the space surprised me. Warm lighting, not too loud even when it filled up. Staff were sound, kept checking in without hovering. Didn’t try much food but the beef cheek was proper tender. Wouldn’t mind going back just for that. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get but alright for a treat.

Service was impressively quick and the staff were genuinely friendly. Portions are generous and the food hit the spot.

The covered outdoor area is a proper bonus, especially when the weather's doing its usual thing. They didn't bat an eye when we showed up with the retriever, even brought out a little pup cup for her. That kind of small gesture goes a long way. Nice spot to just sit and not be rushed.
