Been coming here for years—never disappoints. The food's fresh, service is warm, prices fair. Solid spot for a casual family dinner. 🍷 Wish they had a better wine list though.

Lunch came fast, like 15 minutes, and the packaging was solid. The curry had plenty of veggies and was really filling. Portion size is generous, I even had leftovers for later.

Stopped by for tea and a slice of cake. The tea menu is really interesting, lots of options I hadn't seen before. WiFi was solid too, which is always a plus. The cake was decent, though I wished the sponge was a bit fresher. Nice place to just sit and relax for a while, not too loud.

We stopped by for lunch and I had the unagi don. The eel was soft and the sauce wasn’t too sweet, which I liked. Portion size felt just right for a midday meal. Service was friendly without being pushy. The seating is a bit tight, but it’s fine if you’re not in a hurry. A solid spot for Japanese comfort food.

We were visiting Cologne for a city trip and looked for a brunch place to be with a friend. I am so happy The Fork recommended Frau Mahèr. The waiter and the Restaurant manager were absolutely a delight, the waiter had a great smile and spoke wonderful English. The food overall was delicious, I had the scrambled eggs with bacon and toast. Croissant and homemade jam and the pancakes. My partner had the Shakshouka. All of it delicious. And wonderful, highly recommend.

Nice spot for a quick bite. Food was fresh and reasonably priced. Sat outside, which was lovely, though a bit smoky at times.

The rosemary Gin & Tonic was a solid pick, and the wine list had some good finds. Garden seating beats the cramped inside.

We came in on a busy night and the owner’s daughter was running things solo. Honestly, service didn’t skip a beat. Food was solid, same as always. Cocktails too. Only thing—it’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I’d go back.

Stopped by this little Sicilian place in Zündorf on a weekday. Family-run, you can tell. Had the pasta and honestly the portion was decent for the price. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The ice cream here is really decent—flavors are intense and the texture is spot on. I had the pistachio and it didn’t disappoint. Only downside: it’s very much grab-and-go, no real space to sit and take your time. Fine for a quick stop though. Probably the best scoop I’ve had in Cologne so far.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the momos were the highlight 😋 Butter tea was good too, though it’s an acquired taste. Place is calm, easy to chat for hours.

Been coming here for a while now, and the lemon croissant is still my go-to. Always fresh, always hits the spot. Carrot cake's solid too, not too sweet. Coffee does the job alongside. Place gets busy but that's fine, they keep it moving.

Came here on a random evening, no big expectations. The food was solid, especially the pasta—cooked just right. Service though, kinda all over the place. One waiter forgot part of our order, then another one fixed it. Took a while but whatever. Place has a nice buzz to it, not too loud. Would probably come back if I'm in the area.

The owner chatted with me for a bit—super friendly, not pushy. I had the salted caramel and spicy chocolate. Both were solid, especially the spicy one, it had a real kick. Place is small, a bit cramped, but that's fine for a quick stop. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Place has a nice, relaxed feel to it. Staff were friendly enough, didn’t have to wait long for a table. Got the schnitzel—pretty good, fresh and cooked right. Portion was big, almost too big for one. Fine for the price.

The Kölscher Milchkaffee here is exactly right. Creamy, strong enough, not too sweet. I've tried it at a few places around Cologne and this one just hits the spot every time. They sell beans too, took a bag home last week. Service is fine, but honestly I only care about that coffee.

Came here on a warm evening and grabbed a seat outside. Good mix of people, chill vibe. Food was okay, nothing crazy, but the setting did the heavy lifting. Service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a rush. Fine spot to just sit and let the evening pass.

Pasta was solid, pizza even better. Place has this chill two-floor setup, nothing fancy but comfortable. Staff were alright, not overly chatty but got the job done. Heads up though, kitchen shuts down at 9pm sharp. I almost missed it myself. Good enough for a casual bite if you're in the area and not running late.

We stopped by for dinner and shared the mixed platter for two. Lamb and chicken were both really tasty, portions were generous. Owner came over a couple times to check if everything was alright, which I appreciated. Place is small and cozy, nothing fancy. Only thing, it got a bit loud when it filled up. But for a casual meal, it worked fine.

Stopped by for a scoop last week. They got a ton of flavors, some you don't see everywhere. Tried the Dubei one, pretty creamy, kinda different. Nice spot if you're in the area and want something sweet. Place was a bit busy but fine.

Nice terrace for warm evenings. Drinks were solid, staff friendly enough. Menu's small but creative—got a free amuse-bouche which was a nice touch.

Salad bar’s the main reason to come—fresh stuff and plenty of dressing choices. Place is basic, no fuss. Fine for a quick, healthy bite.

Quality of food was outstanding. Service personnel friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The staff were genuinely kind, patient with my English. Felt comfortable eating alone here, which isn't always the case. Food was decent, nothing extraordinary but solid. Maybe slightly overpriced for what you get, but the service made up for it. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Lovely spot to sit outside when the weather cooperates. I had a schnitzel and a cold beer, both were just right. Service was friendly enough, didn't have to wait long. Only thing is the benches get a bit hard after an hour, but that's typical for a Biergarten. Would come back for a relaxed afternoon.

The lemon cake was pretty good, coffee decent too. Quirky little spot, felt very homey. Just wish they had more seating.

Friendly staff and they spoke English without any fuss. The seasonal menu had some nice options. Booking ahead saved us a wait. Solid spot in Cologne.

Food was solid, portions big enough that I didn't need dessert. Drinks though, bit steep for what you get, and they're not part of the buffet. That caught me off guard. Still, the spread had enough variety that I'd come back. Just maybe stick to water next time.

Been here a few times now, and they always handle my gluten-free request without making a fuss. That consistency keeps me coming back. Staff were on point again this visit, and the price felt fair for what you got. Nothing fancy, just a solid meal. Good to know some places still get the basics right.
