Dropped by for dinner and honestly the pasta with paprika and shrimp was the highlight. Light, not drowning in sauce. Bruschetta was decent too. Tiramisu to finish, pretty solid. Place was a bit busy but we got a table fine. Nothing fancy, just good food. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Pizza came fast, hot, and the crust was actually decent. Staff didn’t mess around, got me in and out in 20 minutes. That’s all I needed for a quick lunch. Place was busy but they kept it moving. Solid stop if you’re in a hurry and don’t want to waste time.

Nice spot with a good wine list. Gabriella took care of us well. Seats were comfy enough to linger a bit longer than planned.

We had a great meal here! The food was delicious, the server was friendly, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed. Highly recommend!

The ice cream was pretty good — strawberry and coconut stood out. Sat outside with the cathedral view, which made it worth it.

Cozy spot with a nice vibe. Staff were friendly, food was decent. Kitchen got a bit backed up when it got busy, but nothing crazy.

The homemade iced tea paired surprisingly well with the sushi—nice to see a place put thought into non-alcoholic drinks. Service was sharp too.

The interior really got me—cozy, warm, beautifully put together. Felt like a little escape from the outside. Just wish it wasn't so quiet, but that's on me.

The French toast with vanilla ice cream really got me. Warm, crispy edges, cold melt on top. Service was quick too, which I appreciated. Place has that simple, no-fuss vibe. Only thing, it got a bit busy around 10. But for a fast breakfast before heading out, it worked well.

Friendly staff, helped us find a spot with the stroller. Service was quick too. Nothing fancy but solid for a casual stop.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Traditional pub, proper local vibe, not one of those tourist-trap places. Service was on point, friendly without hovering. Had the schnitzel, decent portion for the price. Place was a bit noisy but that's part of the charm. Solid option if you're in the old town and want something straightforward.

The spaghetti alle vongole was decent, but the carbonara felt too heavy on cream and eggs. I liked the room though — warm light, not too loud. Could sit there a while without being rushed. Maybe not the most authentic pasta, but fine for a casual evening.

The lunch special here is a solid deal—sushi was fresh and the rice tasted like what I had in Tokyo. Portion size was decent for the price.

We showed up with pretty basic German and the staff was super chill about it. Patient, friendly, didn't make us feel dumb. Food was solid too. Place felt welcoming, like they actually wanted us there. Not fancy or anything, but that was fine. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for a beer and a quick bite. The house kolsch is solid, worth ordering again. Food comes from the butcher shop next door—fresh, simple, does the job. Nothing fancy, but that’s fine. Place has a good local vibe, easy to relax in. Service was straightforward, no complaints. Decent stop if you’re in the area and want something unpretentious.

Stopped by for breakfast on a busy morning. Got the house breakfast—butter really stood out, creamy and fresh. Place was packed so service dragged a bit, but the food made up for it. Solid spot if you're not in a rush.

Nice spot for a break after walking through the park. Cake was solid, coffee came out a bit lukewarm though. Still, I keep coming back for the atmosphere.

Lovely old building and the waiter was super friendly. Menu had plenty of options, which I always appreciate. Solid choice for a relaxed dinner.

The sushi here is made with real care, no doubt about it. Just don't come if you're in a hurry—slow pace, but worth it when you've got time to chill.

The outdoor terrace is lovely for summer evenings, that’s for sure. Peanut butter fans will be happy here, lots of options. We grabbed a table without waiting, but I imagine it gets busy later. Nice spot for a relaxed date, though I’d book ahead if you’re coming on a weekend. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable.

Solid aeropress coffee. Colombian was smooth. Granola with yogurt did the job too. Cool spot near uni, bit hipster but fine.

The koobideh was really soft and juicy, probably the best I've had in Germany. Torshi and mast-o-khiar tasted properly homemade too.

The build-your-own-bowl thing is pretty fun — pick your sauce and watch them stir-fry it fresh. Loads of veggie options too. Just wish the line moved a bit faster.

Lunch came fast, like 15 minutes, and the packaging was solid. The curry had plenty of veggies and was really filling. Portion size is generous, I even had leftovers for later.

Stopped by for tea and a slice of cake. The tea menu is really interesting, lots of options I hadn't seen before. WiFi was solid too, which is always a plus. The cake was decent, though I wished the sponge was a bit fresher. Nice place to just sit and relax for a while, not too loud.

We stopped by for lunch and I had the unagi don. The eel was soft and the sauce wasn’t too sweet, which I liked. Portion size felt just right for a midday meal. Service was friendly without being pushy. The seating is a bit tight, but it’s fine if you’re not in a hurry. A solid spot for Japanese comfort food.

We were visiting Cologne for a city trip and looked for a brunch place to be with a friend. I am so happy The Fork recommended Frau Mahèr. The waiter and the Restaurant manager were absolutely a delight, the waiter had a great smile and spoke wonderful English. The food overall was delicious, I had the scrambled eggs with bacon and toast. Croissant and homemade jam and the pancakes. My partner had the Shakshouka. All of it delicious. And wonderful, highly recommend.
