The unagi was really fresh, not mushy at all. Flavor had that nice char-grilled taste. That's basically the whole meal for me. Cash only though, so make sure you hit the ATM before going. Didn't care much about the rest, but that eel did the job.

The carne à Alentejana was really good, tender pork with those briny clams. Staff let us take our time, no rush at all. Fair price for what you get.

Solid spot on the first floor. Food's always good, staff friendly. Nothing fancy, but it works.

Cash only — almost forgot, so that was a bit annoying. But the bread selection got me. Rustic loaves, pastries, all looked proper fresh. Took a sourdough and a cinnamon roll, both solid. Place was busy, had to wait a few minutes, but worth it. If you're nearby and have cash on you, stop by.

Cozy little bar with a solid cocktail list. Asked the bartender for something fruity and they nailed it. Nothing fancy, just a good spot to unwind.

The veggie pizza was solid, dough nice and thin, toppings fresh. Waiters checked in a few times, not annoying about it. Bill came out lower than I expected for what we got. Fine spot if you're in the area and want something simple.

Tight inside, but the avocado galette with goat cheese was solid. Ordering felt a bit clunky, but the food came out quick enough. Worth it for a fast bite.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed takeaway to eat in the greenbelt nearby. Food was fresh and tasted better than I expected for the price. Nothing fancy inside, but it works if you just want something easy. Maybe not the coziest spot to sit in, but fine for a casual stop.

Popped in for a quick bite. Staff was super accommodating, no fuss. Wine was decent too. Saw some great-looking plates going to other tables. Solid spot for a fast lunch.

Solid pasta. Got the truffle tagliatelle, decent portion for the price. Staff spoke English, which helped. Place was busy but not chaotic. Fine if you're in the area and want something reliable. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

The croissant was decent but didn't have that flaky crunch I look for. The galette des rois though, that was the real winner. Not overly sweet, nice almond filling. I'd grab a glass of Sancerre with it next time, honestly. Worth stopping in for that alone.

We had a group of 20+ and they managed the orders without mixing anything up. Even the dietary stuff was handled properly. I had the beef roulade, decent portion, cooked well. Service was efficient, no long waits between courses. For the price point, it's fair for what you get. Location is central, easy to reach. Would come back if in the area again.

The tiramisu and coffee are the perfect way to end the meal. We've been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. Staff treats you like family.

Stumbled in here on a whim and honestly, the fish curry was the highlight. So much flavor, felt like proper home cooking. The Koththu was solid too. Place looks a bit basic from the outside, but don't let that put you off. Owner was really nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Would come back just for that curry again.

The Diavolo pizza is the one to get 🔥 simple but really tasty, and the price is fair. Place was packed when we went, so definitely a local spot.

Lamb steak was solid, cooked right and tender. Service stayed friendly even though the place was packed. Consistent over the years, which is rare for this area.

The old wood-paneled room feels properly Cologne. Päffgen beer is the reason to come, and the schnitzel does the job.

The pasta was fresh and had real flavor. Service was quick too. Prices felt fair for what you get. Pretty good spot overall.

The croissants were really good—light, flaky, just how they should be. The vegetable quiche though, a bit soggy for me. Lovely room, nice light. But weekend mornings are chaos, so don't expect a quiet coffee. You'll be queueing and maybe sharing a table. Fine if you're not in a hurry.

Pizza was solid, pasta fresh too. Fair prices for what you get. Terrace is nice and quiet, not too crowded on a weekday evening.

The Käsespätzle here is the real deal. Rich, cheesy, properly crispy on top. That’s what I came for and it delivered. Didn’t pay much attention to anything else, but the food alone does it. Fair price for what you get. I’d eat this again.

Been coming here for a while now, and the terrace view still gets me every time. Classic Italian menu, portions are solid, wine list does the job. It's got that fancy feel but you don't have to dress up or anything. Good for a nice evening out without it being stuffy.

Came here with a few friends on a random weeknight and honestly the portions caught me off guard 😅 We ordered a bunch of stuff to share and it was all super fresh. Staff were really nice too, even when we took forever deciding. Only thing is it got a bit loud later. But I'd still come back for sure.

The schnitzel was solid, crispy and not greasy. Fish dishes are consistently good too. One waiter really knew his stuff.

Spacious place with a proper drink list. Staff were friendly, and the interior felt really open—good spot if you're in a bigger group.

The music was really good and the staff stayed friendly the whole evening. Door price felt a bit high, but the included shot softened that. I liked that I could just sit back and not have to worry about anything. Comfortable spot if you're in the area and want an easy night out.

Service was friendly and efficient. Gluten-free pizza was surprisingly good, limoncello a nice touch to end. Place is small, a bit cramped, but fine for a quick meal. Fair price for what you get.
