Solid pasta. Got the truffle tagliatelle, decent portion for the price. Staff spoke English, which helped. Place was busy but not chaotic. Fine if you're in the area and want something reliable. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

Nice little place to grab a coffee and actually take a break. The owner is kind but strict about the no-device rule — fair enough if you want to unplug. My latte was fresh, though I wish the cups were a bit bigger.

Tasty food and big portions. The seasonal veg with coconut sauce was the highlight. Easy to find right off Neumarkt. Place is brighter inside than it looks from the street.

Tried the Ghana 60% hot chocolate — really good, deep flavor. The shop’s small but cozy, nice corner to sit. Service was okay, kinda depends on the day though. Not mad about it.

The croissant was decent but didn't have that flaky crunch I look for. The galette des rois though, that was the real winner. Not overly sweet, nice almond filling. I'd grab a glass of Sancerre with it next time, honestly. Worth stopping in for that alone.

Beer was solid and the place had that proper Cologne pub buzz. Got a Kölsch and just watched the crowd go. Wish they had a better wine list though, but you don't come here for that.

We had a group of 20+ and they managed the orders without mixing anything up. Even the dietary stuff was handled properly. I had the beef roulade, decent portion, cooked well. Service was efficient, no long waits between courses. For the price point, it's fair for what you get. Location is central, easy to reach. Would come back if in the area again.

The tiramisu and coffee are the perfect way to end the meal. We've been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. Staff treats you like family.

The outdoor heaters made the evening actually comfortable, and the mulled wine hit the spot. Nice spot to sit outside when the weather cooperates.

Stumbled in here on a whim and honestly, the fish curry was the highlight. So much flavor, felt like proper home cooking. The Koththu was solid too. Place looks a bit basic from the outside, but don't let that put you off. Owner was really nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Would come back just for that curry again.

The Diavolo pizza is the one to get 🔥 simple but really tasty, and the price is fair. Place was packed when we went, so definitely a local spot.

Great local brewpub with a proper Cologne vibe. Staff was super friendly and even poured us a Kölsch. Food was tasty but portions are huge—couldn't finish mine. Sand on the floor? Kinda adds to the charm actually 😄

Lamb steak was solid, cooked right and tender. Service stayed friendly even though the place was packed. Consistent over the years, which is rare for this area.

Showed up without a booking, place was packed—still got us a table outside. Food looked great and tasted solid. Nice one.

The tapas were solid, plenty of vegan options too. That aioli on warm bread is dangerously good. Bill took a couple tries to get right, but whatever. Quick bite sorted.

The old wood-paneled room feels properly Cologne. Päffgen beer is the reason to come, and the schnitzel does the job.

Kölsch was ice cold, exactly what I needed after a long day. Place was packed, loud in a good way. Football on every screen. Sat at the bar, service was quick enough. Not the place for a quiet chat, but for a beer and some atmosphere? Solid. Maybe a bit chaotic for my taste, but I'd come back.

The pasta was fresh and had real flavor. Service was quick too. Prices felt fair for what you get. Pretty good spot overall.

The pasta with Gorgonzola sauce was really good—fresh, creamy without being heavy. Sat outside in the quiet courtyard, which made a nice break from the busy streets.

Truffle pasta was solid, came out fast. The side cheese was a nice extra. Staff friendly enough. Good spot for a quick lunch.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Location’s super central, that’s a plus. Food was decent, had the schnitzel and a starter, both fine. But man, the service was slow. Place seemed understaffed, waitress was running around the whole time. Can’t blame her, but it did drag the evening out a bit. Would come back for the food though.

The croissants were really good—light, flaky, just how they should be. The vegetable quiche though, a bit soggy for me. Lovely room, nice light. But weekend mornings are chaos, so don't expect a quiet coffee. You'll be queueing and maybe sharing a table. Fine if you're not in a hurry.

Stopped by for a quick dinner, place has a nice cozy vibe. Pizza was solid, crust had a good chew. Staff friendly enough, though we had to wave them down for the bill. Not a big deal, but noticeable. Decent spot if you're in the area and want something simple.

Pizza was solid, pasta fresh too. Fair prices for what you get. Terrace is nice and quiet, not too crowded on a weekday evening.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Tapas were fresh, decent flavor. Service was friendly enough even with my broken German. Place was busy but food came out fast. Solid spot if you want something light and quick. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.
