The schnitzel was really good, crispy and not greasy. Goulash had a nice depth of flavor too. Even the side salad came dressed properly, which you don't always see. You can tell they care about the basics here. I'd go back for the food alone, though the room got a bit loud when it filled up.

The sushi here was actually fresh, salmon and tuna both tasted good. Nice to find that at an airport. I had a Kirin Ichiban with it, went down easy. Seats were okay, nothing fancy, but I didn't feel rushed. Service was friendly enough for a quick stop. Fine if you need a decent bite before a flight.

The cocktails here are fantastic, and the atmosphere is lovely, making it a great spot for a night out, despite the wait time for drinks.

Came for the beef shank and honestly it did not disappoint. Super tender, broth had this deep aroma that I couldn't get enough of. Place feels pretty homely too, nothing fancy but comfortable. Staff left us alone mostly, which I liked. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

Found this place by accident, tucked away behind the parking lot. Curry had a proper kick to it, vegetables were fresh. Portion size was decent, maybe slightly small for the price. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Pretty good spot if you're in the area and want something simple.

The food was decent, nothing crazy, but the staff really made it. Super attentive, friendly without hovering. I noticed how they handled a nearby table with kids, just so patient. Prices felt a bit much for the portions though. Still, I left in a good mood, mostly because of the people working there.

The gelato here is really good. I had the pistachio and it was rich, not too sweet. The Crema dal 1947 flavor is something different, worth trying if you're into classic tastes. I also got the chocolate cream topping on top, which made it even better. Service was friendly and quick, so no complaints there. Just a heads up, it can get a bit busy later in the afternoon, but it's worth the short wait.

The tantanmen broth was really creamy, the flavor came through nicely. Chicken balls were on the smaller side, but that didn't bother me much. Gyoza was the standout though, perfectly crisp and juicy. I'd come back just for those.

A well established and cozy Place. Excellent service and great Food. Children are welcome and treated gently and with respect. A clear recommendation!

Big dim sum menu, most dishes pretty authentic. Cheung fan with the crispy dough inside was the highlight. Prices a bit high though.

Excellent food in a very traditional setting. This is Ur-german but in a surprisingly creative way. Yes, all the recipes are German, as are the ingredients but they come with a modern twist. Our "Rumpsteak with a mustard crust" was perfectly cooked and the asparagus crunchy and delicious. Our dinner was great from beginning until the end with a flawless service. Make sure to chat with Thomas, the crazy Sommelier and maître d' who knows everything about wine. The cellar is spectacular.

Duck was properly crispy, meat still juicy. Portions are big, prices fair. Solid spot if you're craving real Chinese food in Düsseldorf.

The Haus am Rhein offers a stunning view of the Rhine, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing evening. The food is fantastic, especially the liver, which is tender and perfectly seasoned.

Came here around 10pm, still got the full warm menu. That alone is worth something. Had the noodles—portion was solid, not one of those tiny bowls that leave you hungry. Taste was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but for a late bite it hit the spot. Place was quiet, service quick. Fine if you're in the area.

We had our wedding party here a few weeks ago. The staff handled everything pretty smoothly, even with some last-minute changes from our side. Food was solid, especially the beef dish. The hall gets nice natural light, which made photos look good. Only small thing — parking was a bit of a hassle for guests coming from out of town.

The chef came by our table to ask how everything was — nice touch. Food was fresh and tasty, though the spot is a bit tucked away. Would go back.

Been coming here for years. The specials change often and the kitchen knows what they're doing. Prices are fair for what you get. Still our go-to in Haan.

Lovely spot by the river, the garden is really pretty. We had our ceremony there and the mix of old and new worked well. Just wish the staff had been a bit more on top of things during the setup.

We stopped by during Polish Week and I got the pierogi with meat and potato filling. Really fresh, the dough was light and the filling had good flavor. Bigos was hearty too, though I wish there were more sauerkraut in it. Quiet spot, easy to talk. Service was friendly, no complaints there.

The food was really good, but service felt a bit chaotic when I visited. Took a while to get my order in. Flavors made up for it though.

The bibimcup bowl was good—sauce on the side meant I could dial up the heat myself. That’s how I like it. Lunch set felt fair for the price. Place was a bit cramped at noon, but for a quick Korean fix it did the job.

The pineapple fried rice was fresh, not too greasy, and the duck had a nice crisp to it. I came for lunch before 3pm, the special price felt fair for the portion. They take cards here, which I appreciate. Takeout seemed popular too. Maybe slightly busy around noon, but the food held up well.

The IPA selection alone is worth the trip. Tried three different ones, all solid. Being just outside the Altstadt means you can actually taste your beer without the crowd noise.

Very good food and very friendly and professional staff in a homely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the seasonal menu, when in Wuppertal.
