The interior is really nicely done — lots of little details that make it feel cozy. I had a slice of their cake and it was properly good, not too sweet. Service was friendly but there was a bit of a wait for everything. Guess that’s what happens when it’s busy. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

The idli and dosa here are solid—staff actually took time to explain the menu when I looked lost. Good spot for South Indian staples.

The interior is all warm wood, even the bathroom looks nice. I don't speak German but the staff was super patient with me. Escargot was buttery and garlicky, burrata was creamy. Just wish the bread came earlier, I was starving.

The duck and dumplings were solid, really flavorful. Portion sizes felt fair for what you pay. Just expect a wait, place was packed when we got there.

Stopped by on a whim and ordered the grilled fish with vegetables. The fish was flaky, not dry at all, and the greens still had some crunch. Felt like they actually care about fresh ingredients here. Portion was decent for the price. Maybe a bit slow to get the bill, but I wasn't in a hurry.

The outdoor seating was lovely and the czardas platter for two really hit the spot. Staff were friendly too. Just wish the restrooms were a bit cleaner.

Been coming here for years and the salmon lasagna never disappoints. Still tastes the same as the first time I tried it. Staff were friendly too, nothing to complain about really. Just a solid spot if you know what you want.

Best coffee I had in Dortmund, hands down. Tried a few different brews over multiple visits, all solid. Cinnamon bun with a flat white is the move.

The staff were incredibly kind—they still made us food after the kitchen had closed. Really thoughtful service, even if the place itself felt a bit cramped.

Stopped by for dinner since it was close to where I was staying. Pizza was solid, prices felt fair for what you got. Service was a bit slow though, took a while to get the bill. Fine if you're not in a hurry.

Service was friendly and efficient, no complaints there. Had the grain bowl with grilled chicken, pretty good. Portion felt a bit small for the price, but the ingredients tasted fresh. Decent spot if you're in the area and want something light.

Been coming here for a while now. The UrTrub is still my go-to, always consistent. Gets pretty busy and service slows down, but that's not gonna stop me.

We’ve been coming here for years and it still holds up. The schnitzel was crispy, the potatoes were decent, and the beer came cold. Place was a bit loud on a Saturday night, but the wooden tables and warm lighting made it feel cozy anyway. Not fancy, but comfortable. Fine for a casual dinner.

Nice quiet spot with a decent beer garden. Service was friendly and helpful, made it easy to just sit back and relax. Good for a casual drink.

The pizza here holds up every time—crisp crust, decent toppings, nothing fancy. I went for a lunchtime bite and grabbed a glass of their house red alongside it. The wine was a bit warmer than I'd like, but it did the job. Solid enough for a quick stop if you're in the area.

Came in for lunch on a Tuesday, place wasn't too busy. Salmon was fresh, really good texture. The inari was the standout though, sweet and soft, best I've had in the area. Service was fine, nothing fancy but they left us alone. Prices are a bit high for the portion size, but you pay for the quality. I'd go back if I'm craving sushi.

Breakfast was decent — nicely plated, nothing over the top. Nina handled our table well, friendly without hovering. Sat outside, which was fine for a slow morning. Food came out at a good pace. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

The apple cream cake was the standout. You can actually taste real ingredients, not just sugar. Generous slice, cinnamon rolls were solid too. Cozy local spot, but honestly I only care about the baking. It delivers.

Dropped by for a quick dinner and went straight for the duck curry. Presentation was spot on, and the sauce had that rich, coconutty depth I look for. They had a decent Riesling by the glass that handled the spice well. Service was friendly enough, though it did take a moment to get the bill. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The vegan stuff is solid and the ice cream tastes homemade. Courtyard out back is a nice spot to sit. Staff were friendly enough.

Stopped by for dinner on a cold evening. Goose with red cabbage, dumplings, and chestnuts was solid—proper comfort food. Fireplace seating made it better. Service was efficient, no complaints. Price matches the quality. Would go again if in the area.

The basement rooms are snug but get stuffy fast—no windows to crack. Schnitzel was solid, though they were out of cranberries that day. Their wine list helped make up for it.

Been here a few times now. The dough is properly fermented, nice chew on the crust. Toppings taste fresh, you can tell they don't cut corners. Pizza runs about 11-15 euro, which is fair for what you get. Solid Neapolitan spot if you're in the area. Service was fine, nothing special but no complaints either.

The pasta was solid again, and that tiramisu is still the reason I keep coming back. Place was packed for a Tuesday night, but we got our food quick.

The teriyaki chicken and prawns were the real winners here—so good. Sushi was okay, but the rice-to-fish ratio felt off on a few pieces. Service was quick though, which I appreciated. Would come back just for the hot dishes.

The spaghetti with salmon was a bit bland, honestly. But the burrata salad saved it — creamy and fresh. Staff came by a couple times to check if everything was okay, which I appreciated. Not the most exciting pasta, but the service made up for it. Fine for a casual dinner.

Grabbed a quick lunch here. Pizza was big and had plenty of toppings for the price. Tiramisu hit the spot. Service was fast enough for a workday break. Place was a bit busy but that's fine. Solid spot if you need something quick and filling.

Beer took 30 minutes but the schnitzel was solid. Nice spot for a work dinner, just loud when full.
