Came here with a couple of friends on a random weekday evening. The food was fresh and you could tell they actually put thought into the dishes. We tried a few things and everything tasted pretty solid. Service was friendly too, not overbearing. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that’s probably a good sign. Would come back if I’m in the area again 🙂

Nice spot for a quiet dinner. Burger was decent, nothing crazy but solid. Service friendly, place felt relaxed.

The prawns were properly succulent, no complaints there. I had a cocktail that came out a bit too strong, but the waitress fixed it with some fruit juice without making a fuss. Rib steak was the real highlight though—cooked exactly as asked. Nice to find a place that knows how to handle a drink order when something's off.

The open kitchen is a nice touch — I could see the chefs working with fresh ingredients. Food was well-prepared. Service got a bit slow once the place filled up, but nothing crazy.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed the burger — pretty solid, came out juicy. The pizza looked good too, fresh from the oven. Place has that cozy, worn-in feel, not too fancy but comfortable. Staff were nice enough. Only thing, it got a bit noisy when more people came in. Fine for a casual meal though.

Dresel is renowned for its first-class restaurant, offering outstanding food quality that meets the highest standards, comparable to those found in major cities.

Came here with a big group last minute and they didn't miss a beat. Veal cheeks were spot on, tiramisu still as good as the first time I came.

Stopped by for drinks and a bite. Cocktails were solid, staff spoke English without any trouble. Quesadillas arrived a bit cold, so I'd skip those. Fine spot to hang out, but I wouldn't come here specifically for the food.

Good restaurant in a very nice location just beside the Altendorf Castle. Good food at very reasonable prices.

The schnitzel here is seriously good—came for the lamb but that’s what I’d order again. Garlic soup was solid too. Prices feel fair for Bochum, especially for the quality. 😊

The pasta was fresh and the tomato sauce tasted properly Italian. Generous portion too. Just wish they had more vegetable sides on the menu.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed the gyros. Meat was juicy, decent portion for the price. Lamb chops looked good too, saw them go out to another table. Only thing—cash only. No card. That caught me off guard but whatever. Solid spot if you're in a hurry and have some euros on you.

The lamb chops were pretty good — cooked properly, not overdone. Place is right by the main station, so super easy to find. Owners seemed like decent people, friendly enough without hovering. I'd go back if I'm in the area again. Maybe not worth a special trip, but fine for a casual meal.

Fresh ingredients, that’s what I care about most. The salad bowl was crisp and the fish tasted like it was just caught. I liked that they didn’t overload everything with sauce. Place was a bit busy around noon, but the food made up for it. Simple, clean, and honest cooking. I’d come back for the grilled vegetables alone.

The garlic shrimp were the real deal. Plenty of oil, proper heat, sopped up with bread. Calamari was decent too, not rubbery. That was basically the whole meal for me. Service was fine, but I was too busy eating. Would come back just for that shrimp dish.

Came for Iftar and honestly the dates they bring out first were a nice touch. Food was solid, portion sizes fair for what you pay. Staff checked in enough without hovering. Only thing—place got a bit loud as it filled up, but that’s kinda expected around sunset. Fine spot if you’re in the area.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the portions caught me off guard 😅 We ordered a few things to share and still ended up with leftovers. Staff was super chill, even helped us figure out what to pick. Place got a bit loud later in the evening, but for a casual hangout that kinda worked. Would go again.

Celebrated our anniversary here. Food was solid, well-seasoned. Cozy spot, and they let our small dog stay with us. That alone brings me back.

We celebrated my husband birthday and it was wonderful. The staff was lovely and did a brillant job. We are looking forward to our next visit. The view was definately a plus...

The lunch menu is solid for what you pay. I had the schnitzel and it came out crispy, not greasy. Portion was decent too. Just don't expect cheap drinks—a Coke was almost 5 euros, which felt steep. Service was fine, nothing special. Would come back for the lunch deal though.

The dürüm here is always packed and super tasty. Staff were genuinely nice too. Good spot to grab a quick bite with friends.

Great find while passing through. Service was really friendly and they didn't rush us at all. Portions were big enough to take some home.

Cozy enough to just sit and not want to leave. Had a coffee, stayed longer than planned. Food menu is a bit hit or miss, but that didn't really bother me. Fine for a relaxed drink.

The vibe here really sets the mood—old-school charm for sure. My wine paired nicely with the meal, though the place got a bit loud later.

The food was decent, but honestly the noise level got to me. Could barely hear my own thoughts, let alone have a proper conversation. Prices were fair though, and the food itself was solid. Just wish they'd do something about the acoustics, maybe some soft furnishings or something. Would've been a much nicer meal if I wasn't straining to hear.

We came here again during Christmas, like we do most years. The beef roulade was solid, exactly what I remembered. Service was quick and polite, no complaints there. We sat in the tower room, which is a bit more interesting than the main dining area. Nothing fancy, but it works for a reliable meal.

Came here with a group for a bachelor party. Service was sharp, no long waits even though we were a bigger table. Had the truffle pasta and a decent bottle of red. Food's solid, prices fair for the quality. Not the quietest spot, but that's on us. Would go again if I'm in the area.

The Ruhmsteak with pepper sauce and finger potatoes hit the spot. Meat was tender, sauce had a nice kick. Salad came a bit messy but still tasted fresh. Service was quick and friendly. Only thing I didn't love was the smoking inside — kinda dated. But the steak alone makes me want to come back.

Food was fresh and cooked properly, but the flavors were a bit plain. Service friendly enough. Fine for a quick bite, nothing more.
