Fire chicken was spicy and authentic. Perfect for a quick lunch. Got it to go, ready in under 5 minutes. Just what I needed.

Love the DIY hotpot idea! Picked my own veggies and meat, went with the tomato broth. It's a fun way to eat. Just wish the portion for the price was a bit more generous, felt a little light for what I paid.

Been coming here for years, and their lemon tart is still the one to beat. Just the right amount of sweet and tart, with a proper zesty kick. Always order it.

Quick lunch spot, perfect for a fast bite. Staff are friendly, service is quick. Got a toastie and a coffee, sorted in minutes. The brownies looked great but didn't have time. Good for a speedy stop.

The lemon and yogurt cake was a standout. Moist, with a lovely tang from the yogurt and a sharp lemon glaze. You can tell it's homemade, not just a word on the menu. A proper slice, too.

A solid neighbourhood spot. The food is consistently decent, and the staff are always pleasant. It's a good choice for a casual group meal. The place is kept very clean, even the loos.

Grabbed a bacon and sausage baguette and a coffee. The price was really fair for what you get. The baguette was properly loaded, not stingy at all. Good portion size for the money, left feeling full.

The pancakes were fluffy and fresh, which I really appreciate. The historical setting is a nice touch too.

Even on New Year's Eve, they kept things moving smoothly with both the dining room and takeaway orders. Impressive.

The handmade noodles here have a lovely, springy texture. I went for the scallion oil noodles with spare ribs and they were very tasty. The service was friendly and the whole meal felt relaxed.

The staff here are genuinely warm. You can feel it in the way they chat with regulars. They also do these little things for the neighbourhood, like free meals on certain days. It’s a nice touch.

Popped in for coffee during the lunch rush. The 'Girls like to grind' guest blend was served at the perfect temperature, so I could enjoy it right away. The space has a really relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to just sit and be.

Good spot for a weekend breakfast. Service was prompt and friendly, which I appreciate. The coffee was decent, nothing fancy. A solid, reliable choice if you're in the area and need a quick bite.

Lovely vintage vibe here. The cafetiere coffee was good, but the trio of macaroons really stood out. The blue caramel one was spot on – not too sweet. Staff were friendly and looked sharp. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Head Chef George's knowledge of the ingredients really shows in the dishes.

Brought my son for a treat. The server was so kind, stopped to chat with him even though it was packed. Made his whole day.

The chocolate pastry was the star here! Really rich filling, loved that. Coffee was good too. Just felt a bit small for the price, you know? Still, a nice little treat.

The breakfast sandwich is a lifesaver. Sausage and bacon are clearly good quality, local stuff. Coffee is top-notch, honestly the best I've had round Mitcham's Corner. The cafe itself is quite trendy, attached to the pub next door.

The full English breakfast here is a solid choice. I really appreciated that the sausages and bacon were cooked fresh to order. You can taste the quality in the ingredients. The portion was generous, though the beans were a bit too sweet for my taste.

The portions here are really generous. I had the fried rice and it was a huge serving, more than enough for a quiet dinner. Good value for what you get.

Good spot for a quick bite. The staff were friendly and efficient, no fuss. Appreciated the vegan banana and carrot cake option, solid choice. Dog-friendly policy is a plus for convenience.

Lovely spot for a warm afternoon. The outdoor seating is pleasant, and it's nice they're dog-friendly. The live music adds a decent vibe. Could do with a few more shaded tables, though.

Popped in for a midweek pint and a bite. The fish and chips were solid—crispy batter, proper chips. Service was friendly and quick, which is just what you want on a Tuesday. A reliable spot when you can't be bothered to cook.

The restaurant has a 'buzz' and people looked happy. This is the second time I've been and the atmosphere has been great both times. There is nothing better than full tables to give you confidence you've chosen the right place to eat. The waiting staff were working very hard. They were all brilliant. They were polite, knowledgeable, very personable but also very professional. We were an eclectic bunch of friends and our tastes varied from fish and chips, through sea bass, vegetable curry to Aubergine Gratin. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. We rounded the meal off with deserts - pavlova and fruit crumble - ten out of ten was one comment! All in all it was a brilliant occasion.

Popped in on a Friday afternoon for a solo pint. The vibe was just right for a quiet wind-down, really relaxed. Drinks menu had some interesting local ales I hadn't seen before. A solid local spot.

Service was quick, staff were friendly. The dumplings were clearly handmade and tasted great. But for the portion size, the price felt a bit steep.

Been going here for years. The new owners are doing a good job. They put on family stuff now, which is nice for the neighbourhood. Had a wood-fired pizza last week, proper tasty.

The breakfast buffet is a steal. They make the eggs to order, which is a nice touch. The house coffee was a bit weak for my taste though.
