Lovely spot to catch up with friends. We grabbed a table by the window for the sea views along the promenade. Just the right vibe for a relaxed afternoon chat. The iced tea was a bit pricey, but the setting made it worth it.

Came for a special dinner. The round tables are comfortable, and the relaxed yet elegant atmosphere was spot on. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired nicely with our mains. A bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for the setting.

Came for a quick lunch. The halibut was fantastic, perfectly cooked. My husband's cannelloni looked great too. Service was fast, which was exactly what we needed. Got in and out in under an hour.

Came here with a few mates for a proper catch-up. The vibe was perfect for a long, relaxed dinner - we didn't feel rushed at all. Food was solid, service was friendly. Just what we needed.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. The bar staff remember my usual drink, and the servers are never in a rush. It's that kind of reliable, friendly vibe that keeps me coming back.

Popped in for a full English. The turkey bacon was properly crispy, and the sausages were decent. Portion was good for the price. Iced vanilla latte hit the spot.

The vegan Christmas roast pizza is a standout. The base is crisp, the gravy-soaked seitan and roasted veg topping is rich and savoury. It’s a solid dish. The wild mushroom arancini is good too, creamy inside with a proper crunch.

Owner was lovely, really took time to help us pick. Food was tasty and looked nice on the plate. Had the grilled sea bass and the lamb stew, both were solid. A bit on the pricier side, but the service made it feel okay.

The pizza is a good size and tasty. We usually go on a Sunday afternoon when it's quieter, and try to get a window seat.

The team here are so good with kids. They brought over some crayons and paper without us even asking, and my little one was happy the whole time. Makes a big difference when you're trying to have a meal.

Tried their fondue evening for the first time. The cheese pot was huge, way more than we could finish! Cosy spot, felt like a proper treat.

A wonderful pub restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the staff were very sincere and helpful. It was definitely service with smiles. The food was excellent and hot! The sirloin steak was cooked as requested and is certainly recommended. The real ale was well kept and tasted superb. We will be back.

The staff were really attentive. I was waiting outside for a friend and someone came to check if I was okay, which was a nice gesture. It’s a small thing but made me feel properly looked after.

Birthday dinner for a big group. Staff handled it really well, no stress at all. Food was great.

Niranjan and Lynne were great. Really friendly, quick with everything. Made it a nice, easy lunch.

Any time my family are at Cheshire oaks, Ed's gets a visit, it's simple , does what it says on the tin.

The chips were hot and crispy, and the portion was huge! The lady who served us was really lovely, made it a nice lunch stop.

The bill came to just under £80 for two of us with drinks. For the quality of the food and the attentive service, I thought that was pretty fair.

The pie was packed with tender, slow-cooked meat. My partner's glazed belly pork had a great crisp on it.

Portions are definitely generous here, and the flavours are spot on. I had the chicken korma and it was really well-balanced, not too heavy. Staff were nice and quick with our takeaway order. A solid choice for a reliable meal.

The location is prime, but the prices are still pretty reasonable. I had the grilled salmon, and it was a nice portion for what I paid. Good to know you can get a decent meal around here without breaking the bank.

Great selection of cask ales, all well-kept. Stopped in after a meeting nearby. The service was prompt, and the pints were spot on. Exactly what you want from a proper pub.

The beer here is the real draw. They had a rotating cask ale that was spot on, perfectly balanced and not too heavy. The narrow room means it gets packed quickly, but that's a minor thing when the pint's this good.

The staff were really helpful with our allergies. They even brought out a birthday cake with a decorated plate, which was a nice touch.

Been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly, they remember your name and check in without being overbearing. Makes you feel like a regular, even if you're not.

Dog-friendly, which is a plus. The shabby-chic vibe is nice. But for the price of my latte and a slice of cake, I was expecting a bit more. The portion felt a touch small for what I paid.

The roast lamb was really hearty, just like a proper home-cooked meal. The portions are generous, which I appreciate. It's a comfortable spot for a relaxed dinner, and the staff are friendly without being overbearing.
