The Christmas bottomless brunch was fun! Our waiter John was so helpful, really made it easy for our group to just relax and enjoy.

First time trying the Welsh rarebit here. It was a quiet Saturday, service was quick and friendly. The rarebit was good, cheese was nicely melted and tangy. The vibe felt very local and relaxed.

The scone was the standout. Freshly baked, warm, with a perfect crumbly texture. The clotted cream was rich and the jam had a nice tang. The rest was fine, but that scone alone made it worthwhile.

Popped in with a big group, the manager was really welcoming. It’s a clean spot, feels like a proper local bar where anyone can grab a drink. Drinks were decent, nothing fancy. Good for a relaxed evening out.

Popped in for the set lunch. The fish was super fresh, you could really taste it. Simple but solid. Good portion for the price.

Cosy old-school pub, nice garden out back. The live music was a nice surprise on a quiet Tuesday evening. Just a shame the band packed up a bit early, around 9:30. Still, a lovely spot for a pint.

The grilled fish and seafood linguine were huge portions, honestly more than enough for two. We barely finished it all. Really solid value for the price, especially considering how fresh everything tasted.

The fish and chips were spot on. Crispy batter, not greasy at all, and the chips were proper thick-cut. The mushy peas had a good minty kick to them. That's what I come for.

The set menu with a drink is a solid option. The rib-eye was cooked well, no complaints. The standout was the dark chocolate dessert with Drambuie cream – rich and not overly sweet. Good value for a business dinner near the station.

The Welsh lamb burger was cooked just right, even on a busy evening. The meat tasted fresh and the flavours were nicely balanced. A good choice for a lighter meal.

First visit. Lamb biryani was very good, well-spiced and generous portion. Service was prompt and efficient. A solid option for a business lunch in the area.

The coffee is fantastic. I only care about the taste, and theirs is a proper, rich espresso. It's got that nice crema and a deep, slightly bitter kick that's just right. The price is reasonable too. That's all I really notice.

Service was quick and efficient. Staff were friendly without being overbearing. For the price point, it's a solid option. Good for a straightforward business lunch.

Been a regular for years now. What keeps me coming back is the consistency - the steak frites is always cooked just right, same great flavour every time. That's rare these days.

The portions are huge, honestly. You can really taste the quality in the ingredients, which is a nice surprise for the price. Left feeling very full and satisfied.

Had a quick drink at the bar during the rush. It was surprisingly calm and spacious, which was nice. The bartender was really friendly and got my order sorted quickly. A comfortable spot to unwind.

Been coming here for years. The fish and chips are always reliable, no surprises. Portion size is decent for the price. It's my go-to for a quick, no-fuss meal near the office.

Lovely spot, staff are genuinely friendly. Drinks came fast, food didn't take long either. My steak was cooked just right, really enjoyed it. Prices are fair for what you get. A solid dinner.

I love coming here for special occasions! The staff are amazing and always ensure my food allergies are taken seriously, which makes dining out so much easier.

Popped in for a quick pint. Bar looks smart, not too loud. Staff were on it even with the crowd. Lager was crisp, exactly what you want on a random Tuesday.

Breakfast was solid, so we ended up staying for lunch. Went for the tapas deal - garlic bread, fried chicken, chorizo croquettes. Good portions for the price. Staff were efficient.

A reliable chippy, open late. Their curry sauce was a nice surprise, went well with a pint after the beach.

Perfect for a quick bite. The Sunday night espetada is a solid choice, always busy. Food comes out fast, which is exactly what I need. Casual spot, no fuss.

Cozy little spot, perfect for catching up with friends. The food is really good - we tried the truffle pasta and it was delicious. The place is always spotless, which is a nice touch.

Bronwen and Robert are so lovely. They remembered my name from last time and chatted about the wine list. It's that kind of warm, genuine service that just puts you at ease the moment you walk in.

Been coming here for years. The pizzas are always loaded with toppings, just like they used to be.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The food was tasty and the portions were generous for the price. Service was fast and friendly, even though we popped in near closing. Got the chicken curry - hit the spot.

Solid pub with a great history. The homemade burger was good, clearly fresh. Service was friendly. It did take a while for the food to come out, but that's expected when it's made to order. A reliable spot for a straightforward meal.

Service and quality of food excellent. An experienced chef leading a team seemingly without effort. No showy display just seriously good food tasting of its ingredients and perfectly balanced.

Came for a birthday dinner. The staff were really good about checking for food allergies, which was appreciated. The vegetarian options were decent. A nice spot for that kind of thing.
