A family-run spot, the owners are so kind and patient. They helped me with my basic Spanish, made me feel right at home. That kind of welcome is really nice.

First time here and the sushi was so fresh! I sat at the bar and watched the chef prepare it right in front of me. The whole vibe was just really nice and relaxed.

The coffee was good.  The fresh squeezed orange juice was good.  The smoked salmon was also good.  The waitress was busy washing dishes much of the time.  The food was pretty bad.  The bagels were not fresh and strangely, about one third of both my bagel and that of my husband were hard as rock.  we hoped for a nice suite to accompany our coffee after our sandwich. The carrot cake was OK but the banana bread had not been fully cooked and the batter was still wet inside the middle. It was revolting.

The set menu is such a good deal. Food is always solid. Got a bit loud later on, but I like the low light and the worn-in wooden tables.

The Bollo de Lech&eacute; was a nice treat. The place gets pretty crowded though, so grab a seat early if you can.
