The semifreddo was decent, tiramisu too. Clearly made in-house, not from a box. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger.

Been coming here for years, and honestly, it still holds up. The seasonal menu changes keep it interesting—last time I had the venison special, cooked just right. Service was friendly, nothing over the top. Place gets busy, so it's a bit loud, but that's part of the vibe. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Pork medallions turned out to be schnitzels, but honestly fine for the price. Service was quick, place felt cozy. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Doner kebab was fresh and the bread stayed crispy, even after I walked a bit. Portion’s solid for the price. It’s mostly takeaway though, so don’t come expecting to sit around. Good for a quick stop with friends. 😄

We came here for our anniversary and they brought a little dessert with a candle, which was sweet. The food was fresh, especially the salad. I’m picky about ingredients and it all tasted clean, not heavy. Service was friendly, maybe a bit slow at the end, but fine. Nice spot for a quiet dinner.

Stopped by on a warm evening and grabbed a table in the beer garden. Food was solid, hearty portions, nothing fancy but done right. Staff were friendly enough, didn't rush us. Just remember they only take cash, which caught me off guard the first time. Fine for a casual meal if you're in the area.

The terrace is really nice when it's warm out. Quiet pedestrian zone, no cars honking or anything. I ordered a coffee and just sat there for a while, no rush. Portion sizes are decent for the price, not huge but fair. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The birthday cake we ordered turned out exactly like the picture we sent. So well done, everyone kept asking where it was from. Definitely not cheap but worth it for the quality. Pastry chef clearly knows what they're doing.

We had a group of 17 and our waitress was super helpful with language translations (we're from the USA), was patient with us, and connected well with the group, mostly university students. Food servings were good, people commented favorably about the taste of the sausages, but the main highlight was our patient and friendly waitress.

The amuse-bouches were honestly the highlight—such a fun little start to the meal. Chef came out to present a few dishes himself, which felt personal without being stuffy. Good spot for catching up with friends over something a bit nicer.

We had the chicken, duck and pork. All of them were decent, pretty good actually. The waitress was really kind, that made the difference. Place was a bit busy but fine for a casual dinner.

The five-course tasting menu was beautifully plated, every dish had real flavor. Service stayed attentive without hovering.

The courtyard with the wisteria in bloom is really something. We sat outside and it felt like a little escape. Had the fish, which was cooked properly, flaky and fresh. Service was attentive without hovering. It's not cheap though, you pay for the setting and the quality. Fine for a special evening, but I wouldn't go every week.

Came here for lunch after crossing the bridge — super convenient spot. I ordered one thing and got something else, probably my bad with the German menu, ha. The mix-up dish was actually really good though. Wouldn't mind going back to try what I originally wanted 😄

The Thuringian bratwurst here is properly done, not heavy at all. Courtyard seating makes it worth coming back to, even if the service gets a bit scattered when it's busy.

What an incredible place. Great interiors and tasty dishes. Great wine list, too. Last but not least: outstanding, attentive service.

Solid French spot. Onglet was properly tender, gratin potatoes hit the spot. One of the better ones I've had in Germany.

We stopped by for lunch and grabbed a table outside. The beer garden is tucked away so you don’t really see it from the street, but once you’re in there it’s pretty chill. Food was solid, nothing fancy, just hearty and filling. Beers were good too. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

Breakfast buffet had solid options and the coffee was decent. Staff kept things moving even when it got busy. Nothing fancy but does the job for a quick morning meal.

The pizza here really is something else. Thin crust, not too heavy, toppings balanced just right. I had the margherita and it felt fresh, not greasy at all. One of my go-to places in Weimar when I want something simple and tasty. Maybe not the cheapest, but the quality makes up for it.
