At Domplatz Erfurt, even under a gentle curtain of rain, the square held a quiet charm. The soft patter of raindrops seemed to hush the usual bustle, creating a calm and reflective atmosphere. Walking across the open space felt unhurried and peaceful, as if time itself had slowed. The grand presence of Erfurt Cathedral and St Severus Church rising through the mist added a sense of awe and timelessness. Their silhouettes, slightly veiled by the rain, gave the square a contemplative beauty. Despite the weather, or perhaps because of it, there was a gentle stillness—a quiet invitation to pause, take in the surroundings, and simply enjoy the moment.
