The amuse-bouches were honestly the highlight—such a fun little start to the meal. Chef came out to present a few dishes himself, which felt personal without being stuffy. Good spot for catching up with friends over something a bit nicer.

The five-course tasting menu was beautifully plated, every dish had real flavor. Service stayed attentive without hovering.

The courtyard with the wisteria in bloom is really something. We sat outside and it felt like a little escape. Had the fish, which was cooked properly, flaky and fresh. Service was attentive without hovering. It's not cheap though, you pay for the setting and the quality. Fine for a special evening, but I wouldn't go every week.

Came here for lunch after crossing the bridge — super convenient spot. I ordered one thing and got something else, probably my bad with the German menu, ha. The mix-up dish was actually really good though. Wouldn't mind going back to try what I originally wanted 😄

Solid French spot. Onglet was properly tender, gratin potatoes hit the spot. One of the better ones I've had in Germany.

We stopped by for lunch and grabbed a table outside. The beer garden is tucked away so you don’t really see it from the street, but once you’re in there it’s pretty chill. Food was solid, nothing fancy, just hearty and filling. Beers were good too. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

Breakfast buffet had solid options and the coffee was decent. Staff kept things moving even when it got busy. Nothing fancy but does the job for a quick morning meal.

The pizza here really is something else. Thin crust, not too heavy, toppings balanced just right. I had the margherita and it felt fresh, not greasy at all. One of my go-to places in Weimar when I want something simple and tasty. Maybe not the cheapest, but the quality makes up for it.

Came here with a couple of friends on a weekday evening. The food was really good, portions are big so come hungry. We shared a few dishes and the house beer was a nice touch. Staff were friendly too. Just keep in mind it’s cash only, which almost got us. Also, definitely book ahead, place filled up fast. 😅

Stopped by for a casual dinner and ended up staying longer than planned. The interior has this old-school charm, lots of wood and little details that make it feel cozy without trying too hard. Beer list is solid, tried a couple local ones. Prices fair for what you get. Only thing, it got a bit warm inside when it was full. Still, a good spot if you're in Eisenach.

The menu prices made me hesitate, but honestly, the portions are generous and the quality matches. Kids' play corner is small but thoughtful. Left satisfied.

Came for the schnitzel, stayed for the beer garden. Portions are huge, honestly couldn’t finish mine. Service was quick but not pushy. Just wish the outdoor seating had a bit more shade, it got pretty warm. Still, solid spot if you’re in the area and hungry.

The tabbouleh and labneh tasted like what I remember from home. Portions are decent for the price, though the place gets busy fast.

The crepes here are made fresh, really good. I had the classic with sugar and lemon, simple but tasty. Hot chocolate was solid too, not too sweet. Place is small and cozy, easy to sit for a while. Only thing, service was a bit slow when it got busy. But for a casual stop, it works.

We've been coming here for years and the food stays consistent. Meat was tender and seasoned right again this time. Lawn out back is still perfect for letting the kids run around while we finish our drinks.

Decent spot right by the Marienglashöhle. Food was fresh, homemade lemonade was a nice touch. Service friendly enough, even when it got busy.

The burger was decent—cooked well and the bun held up nicely. Only thing: soft drinks cost more than I’d usually pay elsewhere. Food quality kind of makes up for it though. Fine spot if you’re in the area and want something simple.

The fish was fresh and cooked just right. Prices are fair for the quality. The place feels a bit old-school, but I like that.

Stopped by for lunch on a work trip. Place has that old timber-frame look, quite rustic inside. Had the Thuringian dumplings with beef roulade. Solid, hearty portion, sauce was rich. Service was efficient, no complaints. A bit off the main tourist path but easy enough to find. Fine if you want a proper local meal without fuss.

The food was really good and the staff made us feel welcome. They even brought out a little complimentary appetizer which was a nice touch. Prices are a bit high, but you can tell the quality is there.

Nice spot for people-watching in the evening. Pizza and tiramisu were solid, upstairs seating was comfortable. Service could've been a bit quicker, but overall decent for a casual night out.

Stopped by for dinner and ordered the green curry. Pretty solid, reminded me of the ones I had in Thailand. Spice level was just right, not too mild. Place is small and simple, but the food does the talking. Would go back to try the pad thai.

Three mains plus drinks for about 50 euros — pretty solid for the quality. The medieval decor was a fun touch, food tasty too.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Place has that old-school rustic feel, kinda cozy. Wine recommendation was on point. Nothing fancy, but it worked for what I needed.

The view from the glass building over Erfurt is something else. I went up just to have a drink and watch the city change light in the late afternoon. Really peaceful up there. My drink was fine, nothing fancy, but honestly the panorama makes it worth the stop. Just wish they had a few more fresh juice options on the menu.

The wild boar roast was the standout – so tender, really full of flavor. I wasn't expecting much from a touristy spot, but the meat was cooked properly. Sides were decent too, nothing fancy but fresh. Place was a bit noisy for my taste, but I'd go back just for that dish.

We came for dinner and honestly left impressed. The waiter actually knew the menu inside out, which made choosing easy. Food was solid, didn't break the budget either. I had a glass of their house red with the steak—decent pairing, nothing fancy but it worked. Place was quiet enough for a proper conversation. Maybe not the most exciting spot, but it does what it does well.

Friendly staff, even with our big group in the cellar. Food was solid, nothing crazy but enjoyable. Service kept things moving well.

Pizza was decent, nothing crazy. Had the margherita and a coffee before my train. Crust was chewy enough, sauce tasted fresh. Place was packed with locals, so that says something. Fine for a quick bite, wouldn't go out of my way for it though.

Friendly staff, even when my German wasn't great. They made it easy to order. Solid spot if you're just passing through.
