Stopped by for a pint after walking around Haarlem. Guinness was poured properly, nice and creamy. Staff didn't hover, just left me alone which I appreciate. It's right in the centre so easy to find. Prices are typical for the area, nothing crazy. Fine if you just want a quiet drink without the tourist fuss.

Stopped by for a drink, place is tiny but has that cozy vibe. Cocktails were solid, nothing fancy but well made. The little menu with the sweet/sour and strong/light chart is actually helpful. Got a bit loud later in the evening but still fine for chatting.

Dropped by for a quick drink and ended up staying longer than planned. They’ve got a solid mix of Dutch and Belgian beers, both on tap and bottled. Staff offered a taste before I picked, which was handy. Place felt pretty relaxed, nothing fancy. Good spot if you’re nearby and just want a beer without overthinking it.

The whole roasted chicken was juicy, exactly what I needed after a long day. Fries were proper Dutch style, crispy and salty. Even the coleslaw surprised me, fresh and not drowning in mayo. We had a nice bottle of white wine with it, paired better than I expected. Service kept it simple and friendly. Place gets busy, but worth it.

Cash only, so come prepared. There’s an ATM around the corner though. Food was solid, service friendly enough. Had the grilled chicken and it was decent for the price. Nothing fancy, but I’d stop by again if I’m in the area. Just don’t expect to pay by card.

The staff really know their wines and are happy to help you pick. They even let you taste before choosing a glass, which I appreciated.

We grabbed a table on the terrace facing the church. Nice spot for watching people go by. The heater helped since it got chilly. Had the bitterballen and a beer, portion was decent for the price. Not the cheapest on the square, but you're paying for the view. Fine for a quick stop.

Been coming here for years and the bitterballen never disappoint. Terrace on the Grote Markt is perfect for watching the square go by. Service stays consistent too.

Big portions and decent cocktails. Not the most authentic Mexican but fine for a casual bite. Place was busy on a Friday, service kept up alright.

Stopped by on a whim and the lighting really sets the mood. Owner knows his beer and had a good chat with us. Fun spot for a casual catch-up with friends. 🍺

The monkfish main course was incredible, honestly the best fish I've ever eaten. But for the price point, the portion size left me a bit hungry. It's a shame, because the flavors were spot-on.

No. 14 of Fine Dining in Amsterdam

Stopped by for a beer the other night. Their own IPA is decent, and I like that they switch up the taps. Bartender was friendly, chatted a bit while pouring. Place gets a little loud later on, but fine for a quick drink. Nothing fancy, just a solid local spot.

Came here with friends and the prawns were the star of the night 🍤 Mixed grill was decent too, chicken and ribs were good. My ribeye came out cold though, kinda meh for the price. Service was friendly enough to make up for it.

Stopped in for a quick drink and stayed for the toffee apple pie—really good, not too sweet. Bar was quiet so service was quick. Proper Irish pub feel right in the middle of Amsterdam.

Stopped in around 4pm and they were still serving lunch. Food was decent, prices fair. Place looks nothing special from outside but it worked.

Been coming here for a while now. Ribs still fall off the bone every single time, and the buffet is solid if you show up hungry. Just know it gets loud on game days.

We grabbed a table outside with a coffee and a beer, right across from Rembrandt’s house. The water view is pretty unbeatable, honestly. The building’s old, like 1600s old, which is kinda cool to think about while you’re just chilling. It’s a nice spot to catch up with friends, nothing too fancy. Just a solid place to sit and watch people go by.

The apple tart really was the highlight. Flaky, warm, not too sweet. Coffee was solid too. Sat by the window watching the canal, place felt airy and calm. Interior’s quite big, so even with people around it didn’t feel cramped. Just wish they’d come by to refill water a bit sooner.

Johnny knew his wine—picked a glass that actually matched what I like. Didn’t feel rushed or fancy, just easy. Price was fair for the pour, too.

Solid corner spot with a decent beer list. Service was friendly even when it got busy. Good enough for a quick stop if you're in the area.

Came here for a beer and ended up trying the burger. It was a bit soft, kind of fell apart while I was eating it. Fries were fine though. The terrace is nice for sitting outside. Probably better for drinks than a full meal.

Stopped by for lunch after getting off the train at Amstelstation—super convenient. Grilled beef tenderloin was cooked nicely, and the oysters tasted fresh. Staff were young and friendly, though it took a bit to get the bill. Solid pick if you're in the area.

Coffee’s solid and pastries were fresh when I stopped by. Place gets packed but that buzz kinda adds to it. Managed to grab a seat, lucky me.

Excellent place to eat if you are staying at the Ramada.Attentive staff and I really enjoyed the steak which was perfectly cooked.

Stopped by for a coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. The place has that cozy brown bar vibe but feels a bit fresher. I only tried the salad, but the greens were crisp and the dressing wasn't too heavy. Staff let me take my time. Bathroom situation is a little weird, but not a dealbreaker.

The burger was proper juicy and the fries came out really crispy. We sat in those big leather armchairs by the bookshelves, honestly could've stayed there all afternoon chatting. Only thing is it got a bit busy later so we felt rushed to finish. But for a chill catch-up with friends, this place works. 🍔
