Decent spot for a lazy afternoon in Amsterdam. Staff were friendly, prices fair for the area. Just keep in mind it's a smoking lounge, so the air gets a bit thick.

Nice spot for a coffee, view does the job. Cake was decent, homemade like they say. Bit pricey for the size but fine for a one-off.

The music and vinyl collection really make this place feel cozy. I had the cassava fries and picanha, both were tasty and cooked well. Prices seem fair for what you get. Only thing is the seating could be a bit more comfortable, but I'd still come back for the vibe.

Burgers are decent, fries with that mayo are the real deal. Service was quick even when it got busy. Nothing fancy, just a solid spot for a bite. Maybe a bit loud inside, but that's fine. I'd come back if I'm in the area.

The customer service was very good, we came on a Saturday night with a party of 15 people. It was a very busy night but our waitress was very attentive, patient and friendly. She was fantastic! Food was also very good and quick considering kitchen staff was short staffed and we were a large group. I definitely recommend this place.

Stopped by for a late afternoon drink and ended up staying way longer than planned. The Tulipa was really good, kind of complex but went down smooth. Staff actually seemed into what they were making, which was nice. Place has a chill vibe, good for catching up with a friend. Only thing is it got a bit busy later on, but that's probably a good sign. 😄

Coffee was decent, staff at the V-bar were friendly enough. Had a nice chat with Josien. Cozy spot, though nothing mind-blowing.

The oat milk cappuccino was genuinely good, and the staff had a nice, easy vibe. Cozy spot, not too loud, decent playlist in the background. Handy if you're doing the A'Dam Lookout thing. I did wish they had a better wine option by the glass though, would've paired nicely with the calm atmosphere.

Been coming here for years now. The Princesse is still my go-to, that hazy IPA they do is solid too. Place has that old brewery charm, always feels comfortable. Food's fine, nothing fancy, but the mushroom soup hit the spot last time. Consistent, that's why I keep coming back.

Nice spot to sit outside and watch the street go by. Had a latte macchiato, it was properly made, not too hot, good foam. Service was fine, no rush to kick us out. Only thing, the seats are a bit close together, you kinda hear everyone's conversation. Still, decent for a quick coffee break.

Decent spot for sharing plates. We tried a few things off the menu and the food was pretty good. Service was kind and attentive, which I appreciated. Atmosphere is relaxed, nothing fancy. Only thing is it got a bit noisy later in the evening, but that's about it. Fine for a casual meal.

The staff were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Wine list was solid too. Nice spot to unwind after a long day.

The warm cider in winter is really something—I still think about it. Sour beer’s good too, but that cider hits different when it’s cold outside. Place was busy when I went, but the staff stayed friendly and didn’t rush me. Found a comfy spot near the window and just took my time. Nice little stop.

The hummus and shrimp croquettes were tasty, and sitting outside was nice for watching people. Service was friendly enough, though they were a bit busy.

Stopped by for a quick bite and a drink. The artichoke was surprisingly good, and the tartare had a nice kick to it. Staff were friendly enough to help me pick. Portions are a bit small though, I could’ve eaten another round easily. Still, solid spot if you’re not starving.

Small place from the outside but it opens up nicely inside. Loved the old photos on the walls. Bartender was friendly and let us take our time choosing. Fine for a casual drink.

The veggie burger was properly good—lots of flavor, not one of those dry ones. Prices are a bit steep though. But the beer list saved it for me. Nice to have some decent options for once.

Parmi and fish and chips were proper. Closest thing to home I've had in a while. Fish was crispy, not greasy. Some staff are Aussies too, felt familiar. Bit of a wait for the table but whatever. Solid feed.

The apple crumble and hot chocolate hit the spot on a cold day. Nice spot to hang out with friends, they’ve got board games and a relaxed vibe. Drinks were decent.

Nice spot by the canal, pretty chill. Had the mango chicken salad and the Serrano ham & burrata sandwich, both were fresh. Bill for four was decent too.

Been coming here for a while now. The live jazz on weekends is what keeps me coming back. Good beer selection too, though it gets packed fast.

This bar is a hidden gem with a cozy atmosphere and expertly crafted cocktails. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

We had a lovely evening at Pulitzer Bar. I chose the Ambre Safrano, a beautifully balanced saffron infused spritz that was aromatic and subtly spiced, while my husband had the Mango Paradis. Agnes was fantastic, so knowledgeable and genuinely helpful with our choices. The bar itself is effortlessly stylish with intimate lighting, rich interiors and soft soulful jazz, and the canal views with bikes gliding past make it feel like a true hidden gem in Amsterdam.

Stopped by for breakfast and got the American breakfast. Solid portion, eggs done right, toast was actually buttered well. Staff smiled, didn't rush me. Fine spot if you're nearby and hungry.

Stopped by for a quick drink, ended up staying way longer than planned. Service was friendly, nothing over the top, just easygoing. Decent spot if you want to hang out without any fuss. Only downside, it got a bit busy later on, but that’s on us for staying. Pretty good overall.

Came here with a couple of friends and we grabbed the window seats upstairs—such a nice view of the water while we ate. I had the stamppot with pork loaf and gravy, super comforting. The beer float was fun to try too. Service was a bit slow but we weren't in a rush. Would come back for sure 😊

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed their pancakes—pretty solid, fluffy enough, not too heavy. Staff was friendly, pointed me to a local beer that paired well. Place was busy but not chaotic. Only thing, took a bit to get the bill. Fine spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

Nice spot to just sit with a drink and watch the boats go by. Staff were friendly and quick. The canal location really makes it.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Terrace is genuinely green, felt like a small escape from the street noise. Had the octopus and patatas bravas — both solid, well-seasoned. Service was quick even when it got busier. Only minor thing: tables are a bit close together. Fine for a casual bite, not a long dinner spot.

Stopped by for a drink after work. Bartender Sherif made a solid whiskey sour, properly balanced. Service was quick and friendly without hovering. Lounge is relaxed, decent spot to unwind. Prices are fair for the area. Would come back if I'm in the neighborhood.
