The Turkish Rice was a nice surprise, really well done. A solid place to try Ishikawa's take on western food.

This was my first time trying Kanazawa-style curry. The flavor is light but rich, and the rice had a nice firm texture. The booth seating was very comfortable, which made the whole meal feel relaxed. A very satisfying lunch.

The tonkatsu here is always a solid choice. The pork steak is huge and so juicy, definitely my go-to.

No. 3 of Local Restaurants in Kanazawa

Fabulous experience with magnificent food and even better service from the staff. Highly recommended!

Budget omakase was a good idea. They worked with my price. Staff explained each dish in English, which helped.

I was impressed by the atmosphere of the restaurant; it felt spacious and clean, providing a relaxing dining experience even in the bustling market. The service was friendly and accommodating, making my visit enjoyable.

Stopped by for a quick bite while walking through Nagamachi. Got the Salsa Dog. Came out fast, tasted good. Owner was chill, spoke English which helped. Small spot with cool music. Perfect for a fast lunch.

Came by myself for lunch, got the assorted set with the all-beef upgrade. The beef was really unique, very tender. Service was quick and friendly. The private room was nice, but you could still hear a bit of noise from outside.

The owner cooks everything himself. You can see him working in the open kitchen, really focused on each dish. That’s the best part about this place.

A simple soba spot in Shirakawago. The handmade noodles were fresh and really hit the spot after walking around all morning. I got the set with the flavored rice, which was a nice addition. The place itself is very cozy and rustic, with wooden beams and a quiet vibe.

This popular restaurant is definitely worth the wait. To make the most of your visit, we recommend arriving early to avoid the long lines.

The wagyu course was a good deal. The meat was tender and flavorful, and I appreciated the option to add extra cuts.

The industrial decor here is so cozy, with exposed brick and warm lighting. It felt like a nice break after walking around the geisha district all afternoon. Really liked the vibe.
