Good vegan choices here. Had the jackfruit tacos, they were tasty and filling. Nice spot to stop by after a walk along the marina. Place itself is clean and simple.

The staff were so friendly, we ended up chatting about the neighbourhood for ages. Really made the evening feel warm and personal.

The sticky toffee pudding was the star for me. Warm, gooey, and not too sweet. It just hit the spot perfectly after the main course.

Been here a few times now. The burgers are solid, and the beer prices are decent. But the portion for the burger feels a bit small for the price you pay. Still, it's a reliable spot when you're just after a straightforward meal.

Love that they let you mix ribs and calamari with a salad.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The burger was spot on, and the proper chips were really good – proper crispy outside, fluffy inside. Had a pint of the local ale with it, which was just right. Solid lunch.

Staff were really nice. The Thai curry had that proper kick to it, just like I remember from trips. Fish and chips were decent too, crispy outside. Solid spot for a casual bite.

Tried their own-brand wine at the restaurant. It's a nice touch and really tasty for the price point.

Great decaf espresso martini here! The bar staff really knew their stuff. Beer selection looked solid too. A nice, quiet spot for a proper drink after work.

Quick bite after work. The pub's got a decent beer garden, good size for a pint. Atmosphere's warm, friendly. Perfect spot to catch the game with the locals. Just what I needed.

Late lunch, steak pie and fish & chips. The pie filling was rich, proper chunks of beef. Fish batter was crisp, not greasy. Chips were solid. Friendly staff, sure, but the food itself was the real draw here.

Nice cosy pub for a quiet meal. Had the fish and chips. The portion was generous, definitely enough for two. Felt like good value for the price. Would come back just for that.

The pulled pork and fish tacos were a solid lunch. Quick service, got my order in under 5 minutes. Flavours were spot on, really hit the spot with a cold beer. Perfect for a quick bite.

Been staying here for years. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, and I love the decor. The bed's super comfy, and the shower is reliably hot with great pressure. It's just a consistently nice place to stay.

Found this pub while looking for a Sunday roast. It was quiet, which was nice. The roast beef was cooked well, and the pint was good. Service was efficient. A solid option if you're in the area.

Just tried their new courtyard for lunch. It's such a nice little spot, really peaceful. The food was solid, especially for the area. Honestly expected it to be pricier.

The garden is so pretty now! 🍃 Perfect for catching up with friends over a glass of wine. The new owners have really made it feel cosy and inviting. We stayed for ages just chatting.

The veggie burger here is a solid choice. It's a proper, substantial patty, not just a mushy veggie puck. The portion felt generous for the price. A nice spot if you're dining with someone who doesn't eat meat.

Love the energy here when there's a game on. The big screen is huge, and everyone's just into it. Gets a bit loud, but that's part of the vibe.

Popped in for a quiet pint. The ales are decent and fairly priced. The rustic vibe inside is nice for a chilled afternoon.

The snug area is lovely, but I really appreciated the fresh, crisp salad that came with my main - the greens tasted just-picked.

The upstairs pool room is a great spot. Four tables, and having our own jukebox was a nice touch. Just right for a relaxed game with mates. The felt on the table could use a bit of a refresh, but it didn't ruin the fun.

The team was so lovely even on a packed Saturday. Our server remembered I'd asked about the spicy sauce last time and brought a little extra without me asking. Just a nice touch.

The tuna melt panini is my favourite. The space is bright and airy, perfect for a relaxed coffee.

Stumbled in by chance. Solid spot. Music was good, not too loud. Could actually hear my friend talk. That's rare these days.
