I highly recommend the bottomless brunch! The food was delicious, and the service was quick and friendly, especially from Jessi who made our visit memorable.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Ship Inn. Food was at a very high standard and the service was great. Lovely place to spend an afternoon in centre of Lymington.

The food tasted so fresh, like it was just prepared. Really appreciated that on a busy night.

Been coming here for a while now. It's got that proper local feel, you always see a few familiar faces at the bar. The steak and ale pie is my usual, never disappoints. Just a solid, reliable spot.

Been coming here for years, and it’s always the same. That’s why I keep coming back. The beer selection is spot on—they’ve kept the same ales on for ages, and they’re always pulled properly. Just feels reliable.

Birthday dinner for ten in the quieter section. The service was attentive. What stood out was the freshness of the ingredients—the greens in my starter were crisp, and the fish tasted just-caught. A lovely, simple meal.

Fran and her team are so lovely, really make you feel at home. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends. The vibe is just right, not too loud so you can actually hear each other! Service was spot on.

The roast dinner here is a proper treat. The meat was cooked just right, and the veg tasted like it came straight from a garden. Really generous portions too.

The mixed roast trio is a decent size for the price. The Yorkshire puddings are proper homemade ones, which is a nice touch.

Love the vibe here during the holidays. The mulled wine is fresh and the whole place just feels so warm. It's a really nice spot to unwind.

The soft shell crab starter and sea bass orzo were great, but that lemon blueberry tart was the real star of the meal! Perfect for sharing with friends.

Perfect for a casual work lunch! Our server Star was so lovely and made sure our drinks were always topped up. The lunch deal with unlimited coffee and soft drinks is a steal. We ended up staying for ages just chatting.

Lovely little pub tucked away just off the High Street. A proper escape from the crowds. The staff were so friendly, really made us feel welcome. My fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and proper chunky chips. Just what we needed.

Busy Friday night and the staff still kept things moving smoothly. Good service when it's packed.

Really enjoyed the vibe here, very lively. Our waitress was spot on, gave some great advice. The 2-for-1 cocktail deal was a nice touch – the old fashioned I had paired really well with the spicy chicken starter. Solid spot for a casual drink.

The lamb shank was the highlight for me. It was huge and cooked just right. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. Just a heads up, the portions are very generous, even the starters.

Great late-night spot. The bar staff really know their stuff, and the cocktails are spot on. Good vibe with the music.

A handy place to pull in with the EV. The vegan burger was decent, and I had a pint while waiting for the car to charge. The high ceilings and big windows made it feel quite airy, which was nice.

Despite some minor issues with service, the overall experience was positive. The local vibe and decent food make it a place worth visiting.

Great spot for a quick drink. Staff are super friendly and made us feel welcome. Came back the next day for lunch, service was just as good.

Been coming here for years, and the bottomless brunch is always solid. The mini plates, like the Caesar salad and chorizo, are consistently good. Drinks get topped up quickly, which is all I really ask for. It's just reliable.

Sat in the yurt out back. Fun spot for a quick lunch. Food came fast, which I needed. Portions are a bit small, but tasted good. Got the job done.

The fish and chips were the highlight for me. The batter was light and crispy, and the fish inside was so fresh and flaky. It felt like a proper, well-made meal. The portion was generous, too. A really good, classic pub dish done right.

We booked the loft space for a quiet dinner. The staff were really lovely and attentive, which made the whole evening feel so relaxed. A very comfortable spot to unwind.

Lovely local pub, very family and dog friendly. The massive garden is a real plus. I appreciated that the kids' menu had some simple, fresh options like carrot sticks and hummus alongside the usual fare. The garden made for a relaxed Sunday lunch.

The cocktails are expertly made, and the service is personable. It's a lovely place for a drink before or after dinner, with an exceptional cheese board.

Been staying here for years, and the rooms are always spotless. They never feel tired or worn out, which is a big deal for me. Everything you need for a night is right there, no fuss. It’s that consistency that keeps me coming back.

The burger was the standout. Juicy patty cooked just right, not dry at all. The bun was soft and held together well. Chips were crispy and properly seasoned. That's what I came for.

Nice to see this pub under new management. The homemade bread was a highlight, really good. Prices are decent too. It's become a reliable spot for a meal when I'm in the area.
