Been coming here for years. It’s the staff that keep me coming back – always remember my usual, never feel rushed. Just a proper, friendly local.

The fish and chips on a Friday. The batter was light and crisp, the chips were proper chunky. The fish itself was fresh, flaky. A solid portion for the price. That's what I go for.

Steak frites were spot on. The wine list had some nice options to go with it. Friendly service too.

Been here a few times for a pint. Staff are always friendly, even to our dogs. It's a comfortable spot, nothing fancy. Just a relaxed place to unwind.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are always so welcoming. It's that kind of place where they remember your face. Just a really nice, easy-going vibe every single time.

The room was spotless and the harbour view was lovely. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom lighting could be better for getting ready in the evening.

Came here with friends for a few pints. The space is so light and airy, perfect for a casual catch-up. The staff really know their stuff when it comes to the craft beer menu, which was a big plus for our group. Helped us pick a couple to share.

The roast beef was spot on and the gravy was delicious. Perfect for a cosy catch-up with friends.

Ordered food from the pub next door. The drinks here are good, but the food prices were a bit high for what you get. The burger was fine, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

I highly recommend The Chequers for its great value and quality meals. The portions are generous, and the presentation is beautiful.

The Sunday roast here is exceptional, and the service is always attentive. It's a lovely place to enjoy a hearty meal in a cozy setting.

Been here several times as we enjoy the coziness. Food is generally lovely but on the last occasion the Christmas meal could have been hotter

Been coming here for years, it's a proper local. Always a mix of people, bikers and all sorts, everyone's friendly. Just feels like the neighbourhood pub should.

A proper old-school pub. The beer garden out back is lovely on a sunny afternoon - just had a pint there with mates. The jukebox was playing some decent tunes too.

The pub offers a great drinks menu and a nice little terrace out front, perfect for enjoying a drink on a sunny day. The prices are reasonable too!

The outdoor seating at The Mutton is lovely, especially for a sunny day. The garden is well-maintained, and it provides a charming setting for a meal with family or friends.
