Great vibe and the staff actually know what to suggest. Homemade dips with the burger were solid. Quick in and out, perfect for a lunch break.

The Morgenmüffel juice is honestly the reason to come here 🍊 Breakfast was super fresh and tasty. Just be ready to squeeze in—it’s tiny and always busy, so not great for big groups. Go early!

Lovely little spot with a terrace tucked away in the back. Food was solid, nothing crazy but tasty. Service got a bit messy towards the end though. They did bring us a small free drink to make up for it, which was a nice touch. Wouldn't mind coming back for that patio alone. 🌿

The terrace view over Jena is really lovely, especially around sunset. We just had drinks, but the staff was friendly and let us sit as long as we wanted.

Service was the standout. Our waitress handled the kids well, no fuss, no delay. Menu has enough variety, portions are fair for the price. Not the most polished place, but it does the job. I’d come back if I’m in the area and need a reliable meal.

The tomato soup was a solid start—big portion and really tasty. Pizza was better than last time I came, which made me happy. Service was friendly too, nothing to complain about. Good spot for hanging out with friends, casual vibe. Maybe not mind-blowing, but I’d come back for sure 😊

The grilled octopus was spot on, super tender. Place has that nice rustic vibe, though it's a bit pricey for what you get. Still, I'd come back for that dish.

The sushi was super fresh and the crunchy rolls were my favorite. Good spot to grab dinner with friends before heading out. 🍣

We went for dinner and a movie. The food was decent, nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. I had the burger, it was pretty good. The whole concept is nice, you can just relax and watch a film after eating. Service was fine too. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but a solid spot for a low-key evening.

The vegan burger really surprised me—properly juicy, and the fries were spot on. It gets busy on game days, so don't expect a quiet dinner. Still, worth it for the food.

Clean spot, staff kept checking on us without hovering. Got the schnitzel—fresh, well-seasoned, fair price for what you get. Solid neighborhood option.

Been coming here for years. The cakes are always solid, best in Jena if you ask me. That homemade marmalade though, that's the real deal. Fresh, not too sweet. Place gets busy on weekends, but worth it. Just wish they had a bit more seating.

Nice little spot, staff actually speaks English which helped a lot. Coffee was solid, wine list decent. Had the pasta, pretty good for a quick lunch.

Been coming here for a while now, and that peanut sauce still gets me every time. Thick, nutty, just the right amount of heat. Service was quick today too, which I appreciated since I was short on time. Not the cheapest spot, but for the consistency, I keep coming back.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and ended up really liking the cheese in a jar with fresh bread. Also tried the hackepeter, pretty solid. Staff was friendly, place felt local. Only thing is it got a bit busy around noon, but that’s fine. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Shoyu ramen was solid, broth rich and noodles had a good bite. Egg costs extra though, which felt a bit cheap. Place is no-frills, fine for a fast meal but not somewhere you'd sit around long.

The lunch deal here is solid—came for the 11-4 special and left full. Turkish family runs the place, you can tell. Only wish they had a wine list to match the food.

Decent spot for a quick coffee. They renovated the place, and the barista stuff is a real upgrade. Prices went up a bit, but it's still fine for a snack. I'd say it's a comfortable stop if you're in the area. Nothing fancy, but pretty good for what it is.

The currywurst was solid, but the wait killed the vibe. Good for a lazy afternoon, not for a quick bite.

If you're looking for a cozy place with a view, this cafe is perfect. The ambiance is relaxed, and the staff is friendly, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal.

The lunch buffet for €6.90 is a proper deal. Dishes rotate, so it’s not boring, and going back for seconds is too easy. Solid pick for a quick workday stop.

Friendly staff and fair prices for dessert in Jena. The portion sizes felt right for what you pay. Nice spot if you want something sweet without breaking the bank.

Lovely little terrace spot. The French bartender was fun to chat with and the wine prices are fair. Had a simple pasta dish that hit the spot.
