One of our party had dry Turkey and i noticed it was the last cutting of left on the meat, She should have taken it back and got some of the new Turkey which came out after.Other than that everything else food wise was good and we all enjoyed. We will book again for a lunch time meal!John.

Love the historic building, so much character! The steep stairs are a bit tricky, but it's part of the charm. Perfect for a quirky catch-up with friends.

Family platter for three of us. Everything cooked just right, the lamb especially. Nice and filling. Cosy spot out back.

Solid carvery for a quick lunch. The roast beef was spot on today, still juicy and hot. Good selection of veg and gravy. Got in and out in under 30 mins. Just what you need.

Dropped by for a quick pre-show drink. Their house Margarita was spot on—really liked the salt rim and fresh lime kick. My friend's lager looked good too. Could've easily had another round if the clock wasn't ticking.

Service was fine, the staff were friendly. The kids' playground is a nice touch, and the view over the golf course is pleasant. The set menu for two was decent value.

We came yesterday afternoon, and we got a corner seating that was perfect. Peaceful, service great, food good. It was great. Thank you.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating for our large group. Made for a relaxed morning.

The fish and chips portion was huge! Batter was crisp, chips were proper. Ordered on the app and food arrived quickly. It's a reliable spot when you just want a no-fuss pub meal.

Stephen and Jim were brilliant hosts at brunch. They remembered our coffee order from last time, and Jim even suggested a twist on the eggs Benedict that was spot on. Made the whole morning feel really relaxed.

The fish and chips here are solid. The batter is crispy and the chips are proper.

Perfect for a pre-theatre bite near the Royal & Derngate. Staff were lovely, and that boozy brownie sundae was the star of the show.

The rooms are lovely, and the private access to the event hall was a real plus. The wine list had some nice local options that paired well with the evening.

Popped in for Sunday lunch. The roast beef was perfectly pink and the Yorkshire puddings were huge. Felt like a proper home-cooked meal.

It does get pretty loud when it's packed, but honestly, the steak is just so good. Had the ribeye last night and it was cooked perfectly. That's what keeps me coming back.

Nice old pub with a huge garden out back. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was really peaceful. Sat outside with a drink, just enjoying the quiet.

Excellent service our waiter was geneal and cheerful The food was lovely and the ambiance just what three old school friends needed for a very long lunch catching upI will come again

The lamb duo was pretty good. Frankie and Michelle remembered I liked it rare, which was a nice touch. Service was attentive without being overbearing. A solid spot.

The seating area is so relaxing. Comfy chairs, soft lighting, the whole vibe is just right. I only popped in for a quick drink, but I could have stayed for hours. Staff were friendly too.

This place has such a nice, easygoing vibe. The staff are really friendly and the crowd is always a good mix. I've noticed the food has gotten a lot better lately, which is a bonus. Just a solid local spot.

Good range of craft beers, some interesting rotating options. Prices are a touch high, but you get what you pay for in terms of selection.

Managed to snag a last-minute table for a big group, which was a lifesaver! The staff were so on it, really attentive. Made the whole evening easy and fun for everyone.

Came for the carvery, which was decent. But honestly, the portion for the price felt a bit off. My plate wasn't exactly heaping. Friendly staff and the drinks are good, just wish there was a bit more on the plate.

We booked a table of 3 adults and a large labradoodle. They made a big fuss of the dog, which he loved, and made us very welcome. The food was great with a huge choice.

Tuesday steak night is solid. The steak was cooked just right, and the staff were really helpful with the gluten-free options.

Lovely spot by the river, perfect for a sunny lunch. The terrace seating was very comfortable, and watching the swans drift by was so relaxing. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience feel effortless. A really pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Popped in for a drink, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked too good to resist. Ended up getting the fish finger sandwich and the mac and cheese. The sandwich was spot on, really hit the spot. Mac and cheese was decent, maybe a bit too rich for me.

Food's clearly fresh and made to order. Had to wait a bit, but the portion was generous and tasted good. No complaints from me.

Decent pub with a traditional vibe, quite spacious. Had a couple of drinks here before heading out. The atmosphere was pretty good for that. A bit on the pricey side for the area, but fine.
