The family room was spacious and spotless, perfect for our needs. Staff were polite and efficient. Good value for the location.

The DJ was really nice about our song choices. It got the whole place moving. Perfect vibe for a birthday dance, honestly.

We had been to the windhover before but its got even betterwarm welcome has we entered the door we was seated straight away by the window as requested staff was very good & cheerful meals was exerlent nicely presented & hot sweet also just to say have no doubt about returning great value thank you for a great Anniversary dinner

A proper old-school pub, and they let you bring your dog in. That’s a nice touch. The regulars seem friendly, and it just feels like a comfortable spot to settle in.

Decent spot for a casual meal. The space is clean and quite roomy, which is nice. Service was prompt. Prices are very reasonable, so it's good value overall. A solid choice for a straightforward dinner and a drink.

Decent spot for a quick business lunch. The mixed grill is a solid choice, generous portion and well-cooked. Burgers are reliable too. Good value for the price point. Service was efficient, got me in and out within the hour.

The new owners have done a great job here. It's such a cosy spot for catching up with friends, especially with the fire going. We shared the fish and chips and a burger - proper pub food done right. A really nice, relaxed vibe.

Tayla and the team were really on it for our dinner. Friendly, checked in without being overbearing. Food came out at a good pace, which is all you can ask for really.

Just popped in to try the new menu. The lamb kofte was spot on, really fresh and tasty. There was a bit of a wait from the kitchen, but they kept us updated, which was nice.

Good place to catch a game. Multiple screens, so you can follow a few matches at once. Decent beer selection on tap. It got a bit loud later in the evening, but that's expected. Solid for what it is.

The loaded fries with chicken were good. Staff even threw in some extra cheese sauce for free, which was cool.

Great service and quality food. Served at a good pace and piping hot. Pleasant waitress Amila?? Not sure if that was her name. Its my go to restaurant to go to. Knowing that everything will be spot on with a good atmosphere. Food of a high quality and fair price

Managed to snag a seat right away—lucky, as it gets packed. The food was just... really enjoyable. That's it. Just a nice, simple meal.

Portions are definitely generous. The sea trout was perfectly cooked, and the Thai fishcakes were so flavourful. We were absolutely stuffed afterwards!

Cosy little pub, perfect for a cold night. The fire was lit and it just felt so welcoming. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Nicola and George were so helpful when we needed to change our order last minute. They sorted it all out without any fuss, which was a relief. The whole thing felt very calm and easy.

Met some friends here last night. The vibe is just right for a proper catch-up - not too loud, so you can actually hear each other! The pale ale was super fresh. Food was solid as usual. A reliable spot in town for a casual hang.

The fish and chips were spot on, and the cider went down a treat. It does get packed, but that just adds to the buzz. Really good for a catch-up with mates, even if you have to wait a bit for a table.

The refurbishment is a huge upgrade. Love the new layout and lighter decor, it just feels so much more open and inviting now. A much nicer spot to relax over a meal.

The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and all. Cameron at the bar really knows his stuff, suggested a local pale ale that cut through the richness perfectly. Made for a proper Friday night.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. They really made me feel at home as a visitor to the area. A lovely first impression.

Lovely country pub with a great selection of food and drink. You can seat inside or outside so this is good too. It would be good if the parking area would be bigger as we struggled to find a space. I would also wish that in the bathroom would be some nice fragrance.

The staff here are so friendly and attentive, they really make you feel welcome. Even when the restaurant was quite busy, our server was patient and checked in on us just the right amount. It made for a very relaxed meal.

The food's the main draw. Tried the fish and chips, the batter was crisp and not greasy at all. The chips were proper thick-cut. It's just good, straightforward pub grub done right.

Popped in for a pint after arriving at the station. Right by the church, so dead handy. The lager was decent, just what I needed. A bit pricey for what it is, but the spot can't be beat for convenience.

Christmas set menu was good value. Tobi was efficient and pleasant. Starters were generous portions, the turkey main was hearty and well-cooked. A solid option for a business lunch in the area.

The pancakes were fluffy and fresh, which I really appreciate. The historical setting is a nice touch too.

Decent fish and chips. Pizza and nachos were fine too. Ordered on the app, food came quick. Good amount of space inside.

First time here, just tried the seabass curry. The fish was flaky and the sauce had a nice kick to it. Malabar chicken curry was good too, the meat fell apart. Might go back to try the lamb next.
