2026 Global 100 - Must-visit Restaurants

Service was quick and lively. Staff were super friendly, tried really hard to help even though my Spanish is terrible. Made ordering way less stressful.

This restaurant has a fantastic location, just a stone's throw from the Prado, making it a perfect spot for brunch before visiting the museum.

The tortilla here is just right, not too dry. And those churros with the thick chocolate... so good for a Friday morning. Service kept up even when it got packed.

Been coming here for years, and the tostada con tomate is always spot on. That's the main reason I keep coming back. It's simple, but they never mess it up. The coffee and juice are solid too. No Wi-Fi, so you actually talk to people. 👍

This place is magical and the food is spectacular! Everything is fresh and delicious! Gonzalo, the owner, is the warmest, kindest host and so are the other folks working there. The ambiance is amazing. I would highly recommend a visit to Arquibar -you will not be disappointed!!

The coffee here is really good. Strong, not bitter. Service is quick and friendly, got my order right away. Perfect for a fast, cheap breakfast on the go.

They have a solid gluten-free menu, which is nice. Appreciate that they're upfront about possible cross-contamination, too. It's a relief not having to ask a million questions.

Been coming here for years, and the pastel de nata is always spot on. That's what keeps me coming back.

Loved the cozy vibe here! It's such a cute little spot. I spent a whole afternoon just hanging out with my laptop and a latte. The staff was super chill and never rushed me. A great find for a relaxed day.

Decent sized slices for the price. The Red Velvet was big and moist, my friends liked the Kinder Bueno and chocolate ones too. Also noticed some interesting breakfast items on the menu.

Been coming here for years. Their hot chocolate is always thick and rich, and the churros are fresh. You get a solid portion for the price, which is nice. It's my go-to spot when I want that reliable treat.

The croissant is top-notch, and the location couldn't be more central for a quick stop.

I really liked the interactive guacamole and nachos. Mixing the fresh avocado, tomatoes, and cilantro yourself is such a nice touch. You can really taste the freshness in every bite.

Been coming here for years. Their café con leche is always spot on, not too bitter. The dessert was soft, almost like a marshmallow, but not too sweet. Just right for a quiet afternoon.

The vibe here is so charming and old-school. I ended up staying for a while after walking around the area. Their croissants are flaky and buttery, just the right thing with a coffee.

Been coming here for years, even before my trip. The staff always remembers my usual order. It's that kind of consistency that keeps me coming back.

The coffee is decent, not too bitter. I had the club sandwich, the bacon was crispy and the bread was fresh. It hit the spot for a quick lunch. Prices are okay for what you get.

Maribel was great with our group. Attentive without hovering, and the portions were sensible. Service like that makes a business lunch efficient.

The lounge upstairs is a peaceful spot. I loved the view of Plaza España while enjoying my tea. The atmosphere was quiet and perfect for a little break.

The ham is the star here. I really appreciated how fresh it tasted, you could tell it was high quality. A simple dish done right. The rest of the meal was fine, but that ham is what I'll remember.

A tiny, cozy spot. Their flat white had this deep, rich flavor that just hit right. Felt like being in a friend's kitchen, not a cafe. Could sit there all morning.

My go-to coffee in Madrid. They roast on Tuesdays, so the whole place smells incredible. That old spice shop vibe is just cool. Had a fantastic cortado that paired perfectly with the whole atmosphere.

Loved the quiet street vibe. The food is fresh and the coffee is strong. But the real standout? The way they plate everything. So simple, but it just feels special.

Been coming here for years, and the chicken sandwich never disappoints. Always packed with filling, just like it was the first time. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.
