Roots is really a brave project. I went for an aperitif, dishes from mexico, pakistan, ghana and morocco delicious and interesting. Portions a bit small and not very balanced

The unagi here was decent, but honestly, it's the clean, bright space that made me want to stay. Felt good just sitting there with my lunch. A nice find for a quick, healthy bite in Modena.

The food here is super fresh and honest. I tried the grilled octopus salad and the flavors were just right. Staff were really friendly and spoke English, which made ordering easy. Prices are fair for what you get.

The pasta courses were lovely, and the local Lambrusco was a nice touch. It all felt like a good deal for what we got.

Claudio, the host, is a treasure! His stories about the history of the place and the food add a unique charm to the dining experience. The service is attentive, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served.

We'd a wonderful time Booking was very short notice Staff were really accommodating very knowledgeable Food was exceptional Thanks again you really made our evening

Friendly staff, even with the language gap. They were patient with our questions and made sure we were comfortable. Good service.

Stopped in for a quick lunch between meetings. The seafood antipasti were fresh and well-prepared. Service was prompt and polite. Good for a fast, reliable meal near the station.

Went for the full Italian experience. Bruschette and pasta were solid. Portions are huge, honestly couldn't finish my plate. Good spot across from the hotel.

Been here a few times. Their grilled lamb is always spot on, juicy and cooked just right. The wine list has some decent local options that don't break the bank. Good spot for a quiet dinner.

The outdoor seating goes way back into the park, which is nice. But the real thing here is the food. Had the grilled octopus, and it was cooked just right—tender, with a good char. That's what I came for.

The outdoor terrace is lovely, and the staff was very friendly. A comfortable spot to enjoy their grilled meats.

Staff were super friendly and professional. Made lunch really pleasant. Service was the highlight for sure.

Parking was easy, but the square gets pretty crowded around dinner time.

Tucked away but worth the hunt. Got the classic carbonara. Pasta was perfectly al dente, sauce rich. Quick service, in and out in 40 mins for a proper lunch. Just what I needed.

Nice spot for a summer evening. The outdoor area is spacious, with good lighting and a decorative pool. Just a bit pricey for what you get.

Sambue was the highlight. Got it as a starter, and it was gone in about 60 seconds. Wish I'd snapped a pic, but we were too busy eating.

The yogurt here is fresh, not overly sweet. I liked the granola and dried fruit toppings. Could use a bit more honey on the side, but it's a solid choice.

Vincenzo remembered my name from last time! That kind of personal touch makes you feel right at home. The whole team is just so warm and friendly, it really adds to the vibe when you're grabbing a quick bite with friends.

The food was really good. I tried the truffle pasta for the first time and it was a nice surprise. The vibe was chill, perfect for a casual dinner.

Been coming here for years. The pizza stays crispy even when you get it home, which is rare. Sauce is the standout, really tastes like the real deal.

This restaurant offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for couples or small groups. The attention to detail in the dishes is impressive, making it a great choice for those looking to explore new flavor combinations.

Perfect everything! Loads of variety of food except sushi. Non of that but it’s OK. The rest of the menu was GREAT! Enjoyed family time eating yummy Japanese food!

Great spot for a casual hangout with friends. They've got a huge beer list, lots of taps and bottles. Found a local IPA I'd never tried before, really liked the hoppy finish.

The selection of ready-made dishes is huge, easily 30+ options. Everything looks so fresh and inviting. I love how the display is arranged, it's really bright and clean. Makes picking out lunch feel less rushed.

Just a quaint little restaurant tucked away from the beaten path of tourists. Wonderful service and delicious pastas and homemade bread! You do not want to miss dining here if you visit Modena.

Been coming here for a decade now. The sushi is always just right—fresh, simple, never a miss. It's that consistency that keeps us coming back.

Came for an afternoon Moscow Mule. It was tasty, but honestly, for the price, I expected a bit more in the glass. Felt a little light for what you pay.
