Stumbled into this place looking for something different in Wuppertal. Proper English pub feel, not trying too hard. The ale list is decent, got a few ciders you won't see elsewhere in town. Had the homemade curry, it did the job. Nothing fancy but honest food. Place was a bit quiet for a Saturday but that suited me fine.

Stopped by for a drink on a warm evening. The Füchschen Alt was really good, exactly what you want from a classic pub. Sat outside, which was nice and easy. Service was friendly enough, didn't have to wait long. Just a solid, no-fuss spot to unwind.

Small menu but everything we had was solid. The Sunday brunch hit the spot, nothing fancy but dependable. Daily specials keep it interesting enough to come back.

The cocktails here are fantastic, and the atmosphere is lovely, making it a great spot for a night out, despite the wait time for drinks.

No. 3 of Restaurants for Views & Experiences in Dusseldorf

The pork knuckle was huge, really crispy on the outside. We shared one between two and still had leftovers. Place was packed even on a Tuesday night, which says something. I mostly noticed how fresh the sides were, the sauerkraut had a nice tang to it. Service was quick despite the crowd. Maybe a bit loud for my taste, but fine.

The mushroom omelette was okay, but a bit dry and small for what you pay. Cappuccino was fine though. Friendly staff, decent spot if you're nearby.

Great vibe, staff was friendly. Got busy fast on Sunday though, ended up waiting a bit for a table. Food was solid once we ordered.

Decent spot for a late beer and pool. Plenty of seating in the back. Prices okay, though beer's a bit pricey compared to other places nearby.

The all-you-can-eat ribs on Wednesday are the reason to come here. Meat falls off the bone, sauce is solid, not too sweet. Place gets loud and busy, but our server kept up fine. Beer is cold, obviously. Just go early if you want a quieter table.

Stopped by for a quick drink. The building is old, 300 years I think, used to be a post office. Cool vibe. Sat in the conservatory part, didn't smoke but it was still a nice spot. Service was fast, no complaints. Just a solid place to chill for a bit.

Stumbled into this half-timbered place and honestly the Drachenblut wine was the highlight. Dark, smooth, a bit dangerous. Food was fresh too, I had something hearty and it hit the spot. Service was friendly but a little slow, though the rustic vibe made up for it. Would come back for that wine alone.

Nice spot for a quick bite. Food came out fast and looked good on the plate. Portion was solid for the price. Would grab lunch here again if I'm in the area.

Solid Kölsch and a proper old-school vibe. Place was packed with locals, which is always a good sign. Service was quick enough, even with the crowd.

Decent spot for a quick bite. Club sandwich was solid, they made it veggie without any fuss. Service was quick and friendly. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. Fine if you're in the area and don't want to overthink it.

Stopped by for a late lunch near the Altstadt. Got the galette with goat cheese and honey, plenty of filling for the price. Place is small, so we had to wait a bit for a table, but it was worth it. Staff didn't rush us at all. Solid choice if you're in the area and don't want the usual tourist spots.

Decent pub grub, burgers are solid—some of the better ones I’ve had around here. Service dragged a bit on a busy evening, but nothing painful. Fine if you’re nearby and don’t want to overthink it.

The bartender made me a custom drink when I asked — really thoughtful. Prices are a bit high, but the ingredients felt fresh and well chosen.

Been coming here for a while now. The food stays consistent, which is why I keep going back. Wine by the glass is solid too. Gets a bit loud when it's full, but that's about the only downside.

Decent spot in Dortmund for a proper cocktail. Bartender knew what he was doing, drink came out balanced. Place has a relaxed vibe, though music gets noticeably louder after 10. Not the cheapest, but you pay for the quality. Fine if you want a solid drink without the club scene.

The interior is really something—like a Wes Anderson version of a writer's lodge. Lots of seating, easy to hang out. Good spot if you're in the area.

Pink Pepper offers an exquisite dining experience with a Michelin-starred chef at the helm. The seven-course meal we had was a culinary masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. A must-visit for food lovers!

Restaurant in Steigenberger Icon Parkhotel Düsseldorf

Stopped by for a quick wine tasting and grabbed a bite. Hosts were friendly, made it feel personal without being over the top. Food and wine pairings were solid. Service was fast enough for a lunch break. Place was a bit busy but that’s fine. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

Found this place while wandering around Cologne. The wine list is really well picked, went well with my meal. Only downside: seating is a bit cramped. Prices are on the higher side but the food quality makes up for it.

The schnitzel was solid—crispy, not greasy, and big enough to skip dinner later. A decent Riesling helped cut through it nicely. Staff didn't rush us, even with the place full.

The food was decent, but honestly I expected a bit more from a Michelin-starred place. Some plates just didn't have that special touch. Service was friendly though, just a little off at times. Our waiter was nice enough, but we had to ask twice for the bill. Comfortable seating, I'll give them that. Not sure I'd rush back, but it wasn't a bad evening either.

Stopped by for happy hour and ended up staying for dinner. Staff was friendly and handled English fine, which helped. Beer was solid, burger really hit the spot. Nothing fancy, just a good casual spot to grab a bite and a drink. Maybe a little slow when it got busier, but I'd go back.

Been coming here for years now. The schnitzel stays consistently good and the Kölsch keeps flowing. Cash only still catches people off guard though.

The bar inside the hotel has a really nice vibe. Drinks were creative and looked great. Staff was friendly but not hovering. I liked the seating, comfortable enough to just hang out for a while. Only thing, it got a bit loud later in the evening. Still, a solid spot for a quiet drink before heading out.

Decent Altbier and a pretty good vibe. Staff were friendly, service quick. Bit loud inside, but that's fine for a brewpub. Cash only, so come prepared.
