Stumbled onto this place and ended up staying way longer than planned. The courtyard beer garden is really cozy. Marinated olives with bread were the highlight—such a simple thing but done so well. Wish I lived closer, honestly. Would come back just for those olives.

Came here for breakfast and honestly liked it more than expected. Place is pretty big, so you don’t feel cramped. Service was quick and friendly. Prices fair for what you get. Had the scrambled eggs with toast — simple but done right. Maybe not a mind-blowing spot, but solid enough that I’d come back.

Solid German beer and the schnitzel was decent. Place gets pretty loud inside but that's part of the charm I guess. Good spot if you want that traditional Brauhaus feel without the tourist trap vibe.

Friendly staff, helped us find a spot with the stroller. Service was quick too. Nothing fancy but solid for a casual stop.

Stopped by for a beer and a quick bite. The house kolsch is solid, worth ordering again. Food comes from the butcher shop next door—fresh, simple, does the job. Nothing fancy, but that’s fine. Place has a good local vibe, easy to relax in. Service was straightforward, no complaints. Decent stop if you’re in the area and want something unpretentious.

Stumbled into this place with a few friends and honestly the pinball machines are the main draw. They’ve got a solid mix of old and new games, plus a local IPA on tap that hit the spot. It’s cozy, not too loud, so you can actually chat between rounds. Only thing is it’s a bit easy to lose track of time in there 😅

Solid spot for 1. FC Köln fans, loads of memorabilia everywhere. Atmosphere was buzzing on match day. Prices are fair for what you get, though booking ahead is a must.

Stopped by in the late afternoon, place was pretty chill. Got a coffee, sat around, no rush at all. Nice spot if you just wanna unwind for a bit. Nothing fancy, but it did the job.

Stopped by on a Tuesday evening—place was calm, easy to grab a seat. Guinness came out proper, creamy head and all. Staff were friendly without hovering. The old-school interior gives it a bit of character, feels like a pub that’s been around forever. Good spot if you just want a quiet pint and some space to chat.

Nice spot right in the Altstadt. Drinks were solid and the price felt fair for the area. Music was good too, not too loud to talk over. Would stop by again if I'm in the neighborhood.

Cozy spot, but pretty small. Good for a date or maybe four people max. Music was decent, not too loud to talk over. Fine for what it is.

Stopped here for lunch on a quiet square. Had the chicken curry — creamy, decent spice, rice was fluffy. Sat outside, which was nice. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

We stopped by for dinner and I really liked the Kutscheteller – cooked just right, the pepper sauce was tasty. House beer was decent too. Service was friendly, which I always appreciate. Only thing, it got a bit busy later on, but nothing to complain about really. Solid spot if you want traditional food without fuss.

Prices are fair for the area, which is rare. Got a beer and just chilled for a while. Crowd’s a bit older but that’s fine with me.

Solid Kölsch right by the Dom. Nothing fancy, but the beer was ice cold and hit the spot. Food's basic but fine. Good spot if you want a quick, no-fuss drink.

Nice wine selection, especially the German ones. Small plates are tasty but portions definitely shrank since last time.

Decent traditional German food with a view of the Rhine. Kölsch was fresh, prices fair. Service a bit inconsistent, but we had a pretty good meal. Nothing fancy, just solid.

Lunch menu had plenty of options, even for different budgets. Food was solid and portions big enough. Parking right in front made it easy. Only thing—the seating felt a bit cramped, but fine for a quick bite.

The paella was packed with seafood and cooked just right. Garlic mushrooms were a solid pick too. Service stayed on point the whole time. Easy spot to come back to.

Good mojitos, not too sweet, proper amount of mint. Place is chill, no loud music blasting so you can actually talk. Lighting is fine too. Came on a weekday evening, not crowded. Drinks took a bit but they were busy. Fine for a casual drink, nothing fancy.

Been coming here for years after gigs at the arena. The Kölsch is always ice cold and the bartenders remember regulars. Sure, it gets packed on event nights and you might wait a bit, but that's part of the vibe. Just a solid spot that never lets you down.

The schnitzel was solid, and the portion size felt fair for what you pay. Cold Kölsch on the side, went down easy. Just note it’s cash only, which caught me off guard. Nothing fancy, but decent for a casual stop.

The pork knuckle was the real deal. Crispy skin, tender inside, proper mustard on the side. That's what I came for. Portion size is generous for the price. Kitchen stops taking orders around 10, so don't show up late. I'd skip the sides next time and just get another beer with the main.

Stopped by for a quick dinner last week. Staff were friendly, no fuss. Had the schnitzel, it was decent and came out hot. Place wasn't too loud for a Tuesday. Fine if you're in the area and want something simple. Not mind-blowing, but I'd go back.

Managed to get a table on a Sunday evening without booking. That was lucky. The food was decent, but honestly the vegetables stood out to me — fresh, not overcooked, actually tasted like something. Server was a young guy, friendly enough, checked in a couple times. Nothing fancy, but I'd go back for the greens.

Been coming here for years now, and the terrace never disappoints. Castle grounds are kept really nice, easy to spend a few hours just wandering. Stopped at the brasserie again this time—staff still friendly, menu's solid. Not the cheapest spot, but you pay for the setting. Always leave feeling like it was worth the drive out.

Came for the football, stayed for the buzz. Screens everywhere and the crowd was properly into it.

Cozy little bar with a solid cocktail list. Asked the bartender for something fruity and they nailed it. Nothing fancy, just a good spot to unwind.

The baked potato was spot on, really fluffy inside. Service was friendly enough and didn't keep us waiting. Fine spot if you're nearby.
