Nice classic pub vibe. The staff are friendly and efficient, service was quick. Food was pretty good too.

Been coming here for years, and the veggie breakfast flatbread is always spot on. It's the reason I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. The staff always remembers us, even on busy nights. Food’s just as good as the first time.

A cosy spot for a quiet lunch. The salad was lovely, greens were crisp and fresh. Could tell the ingredients were just prepped. The dressing was light, not overpowering. A simple, satisfying meal.

The local ingredients really shine here. The scallops were perfectly seared, and the lamb was cooked just right. Service was smooth, never intrusive. Felt like a proper fine dining experience without being stuffy.

Cosy spot for a casual dinner. I really appreciated the fresh ingredients in the salad - the greens were crisp and the tomatoes tasted like they were just picked. A nice, simple meal.

The soup bases are the highlight. Tried the spicy miso broth with the thick noodles, really hit the spot on a cold day. Good selection to choose from.

Nat and Josh were super helpful with suggestions. The Great White Buffalo burger was the star. Quick service, perfect for a fast lunch.

Booked ahead, glad we did. It's a small place. Watching the pizza being made in the wood oven was a nice touch. Good for a straightforward meal.

Found this little Italian place on a side street. The cannoli looked incredible, so I grabbed a few to go. Honestly, a bit pricey for the size - each one was quite small. Tasted good though.

Been coming here for years, and the beer selection is always spot on. Eight cask ales on, including a couple of porters last time. That glass-walled cellar upstairs is a nice touch. Just a solid, reliable pub.

Nice little cafe in the park. The food was tasty and the prices were fair, which is always a plus.

Tofu pad thai for a quick lunch. Noodles weren't dry, sauce was good. Plenty of veggies, tofu was fried nicely. Got it in under 10 minutes, which is what I needed. Solid choice when you're in a rush.

Popped in solo and had the three-course meal. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, especially in the starter.

Booked ahead and glad we did. The lady who served us was so friendly, took time to explain all the spices they use. Really appreciated that chat. The prawn dish we tried was spot on.

Lamb belly on sourdough was solid. Service from Maria was efficient and friendly. Convenient spot for a quick lunch.

Food arrives as it's ready, so the table kept moving even on a busy Friday. Portions are generous - left comfortably full. Good for a quick business meal.

Great spot for families. Staff were really nice, even gave my kid a lollypop. Dog-friendly too, which is a plus.

They were really thoughtful with my coeliac and pescatarian requests. The tasting menu felt properly adapted, not just a few things swapped out. Made a big difference to the evening.

The seafood dishes were pretty good, with some interesting spice combinations you don't often see. The place is spotless, and the staff were very attentive. A solid meal.

The staff were so friendly, which made the evening really pleasant. I appreciated the little complimentary mint chocolate at the end. It does get very busy, so booking ahead is a must.

Found this spot tucked away in York. The lamb birria stew was packed with flavour and so fresh. The staff were really friendly and attentive.

The all-you-can-eat deal here is solid. The meat was good quality, not just cheap filler. Servers were quick to refill drinks and clear plates. For what you pay, you definitely get your money's worth.

Been here for breakfast a few times. The full English is solid, good portion for the price. Gets you sorted for the day. Service is always quick and no-nonsense, which I like.

The spicy sauce on my shawarma was spot on. Not too overpowering, just a nice warmth that worked really well with the fresh salad and meat. Made a good wrap even better.

Staff were so nice, especially the doorman who helped us out. Made the evening really smooth. Just a heads up, you'll want to book ahead if there's music on.

Been coming here for years. Staff are always friendly, Carole and Sophie in particular. They remember you, make you feel welcome. It's a big part of why I keep coming back.

The chickpea scramble was so creamy. That sourdough bread was a perfect match.

As an Italian, I can confirm the pizza here is authentic. The dough and imported toppings are spot on.

Really impressed by how they focus on British produce and hyper-seasonality. You can genuinely taste the quality in the local ingredients – the asparagus starter was so fresh and vibrant. Just a lovely, thoughtful approach.
