Came here on a whim and honestly, it hit the spot. The grilled octopus was tender, not rubbery like you get in a lot of places. I had a glass of their house Assyrtiko with it, which worked really well. Service was relaxed and friendly. Only minor thing, the bread basket took a while to arrive. But the meal itself was solid.

Lovely shaded terrace, really comfortable seating. The vegetarian plate was tasty, dessert was a nice touch. Service was friendly and easygoing.

The homemade cakes here are really something. I grabbed a few chocolates to take home too, fresh and not overly sweet. Wish I lived closer, honestly.

The Kaiserschmarrn here is seriously good. Fluffy, caramelized, just the right amount of sweet. I came with a couple of friends and we shared one, honestly could’ve ordered two. Place is cozy too, good for a chill hangout. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but whatever. Definitely grabbing this again next time I’m in the area 🙂

The Käsespätzle was properly cheesy, not too heavy. Fresh herbs on top made a difference. Good spot for a casual dinner.

The wild boar roast was solid, came out quick and hot. Owner didn't hover, just let us eat. Fair price for what you get. Good spot for a quick lunch if you're nearby.

The owner was really friendly and chatted with us for a bit. I liked that the vegetables tasted fresh. Wood stove kept it cozy on a rainy evening.

Stopped in after skiing and grabbed a seat near the window. The dry-aged steak really stood out — you can tell it comes from their own farm. Cooked just right. Staff were friendly enough without hovering. Place gets busy around 4pm, so it got a bit loud, but that's kind of expected near the slopes. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Stopped by without a reservation and they squeezed us in. The pork medallion toast was really good. Service was friendly, no complaints.

Service was genuinely friendly, not the stiff kind you get in fancy places. Took the menu as a journey, those little intermediate courses kept things interesting.

The beer garden’s really charming, and the interior feels properly authentic. Service was quick and friendly too, plus they brought out bread with dips on the house—nice touch.

Cozy place, nicely decorated. We ordered a few things and everything tasted fresh. The price was fair for what you got. Already thinking about coming back to try more.

The Lammhaxe was the star. Meat fell right off the bone, the Käsespätzle on the side was properly cheesy. Beans were fine, nothing crazy. Salad was fresh, decent size. I didn't care much about the cozy interior, just focused on the food. For a random stop, it hit the spot. Maybe a bit heavy on the salt, but I'd eat it again.

The terrace view really made the lunch. Kaiserschmarrn was fluffy, caramelized just right. Staff didn't fuss over us, just friendly. Only thing, it got a bit busy around noon. But sitting there, watching the hills, that was the highlight.

The pizza was really good—thin crust, crispy, just the right amount of toppings. Service was attentive without hovering. Only wish the place wasn't quite so loud by the time we left.

The 5-course menu with wine pairing was so good, even got a veggie swap without fuss. Pricey but worth it for a fun night out 😊

The pistachio and dark chocolate are the ones to get. You can tell the ice cream is made in-house, natural colors, real fruit taste, not that sugary mess you find in most places. I had a scoop of each and honestly, a glass of dry riesling would've paired nicely with the pistachio. Place was a bit busy but worth it.

Celebrated our anniversary here again — the wine list is always on point. Food was solid, service friendly. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but we left happy. 🍷

The deer ragout was the highlight for me—tender, rich, properly seasoned. Medallions were cooked just right too. Service came fast without hovering. One of the better meals I had in Oberstdorf, though the place got a bit busy later. Wouldn't mind going back for that ragout alone.

Salmon was spot on — cooked well, decent portion for the price. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something reliable.

Service was friendly, food came out quick. Beef noodle soup and duck were solid. Fried noodles okay, chicken had that processed texture thing. Outdoor seating's nice if the weather holds up.

Been coming here for a while now, and the mixed grill plate is still the reason I keep going back. Had it again last week with a couple of friends, plenty of meat, cooked right. We also grabbed the bufala mozzarella to start, that was solid too. Place gets busy, but the food stays consistent. That's what matters to me.

Steak was cooked properly, but honestly it's pricey for the neighborhood. Garden's nice in summer though.

The XXL pretzel was basically a meal on its own, and the cheese soup had a nice rich flavor. The place has a modern feel but keeps that traditional touch. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable.

Tried the pasta and pizza here – both were solid and came out hot. Prices were fair for what you got. Staff spoke English, so ordering was easy. Good spot if you're in the area.
