Stopped by after a long hike and grabbed a local beer with a burger. The patty was fresh, not frozen, and the bun was nicely toasted. Staff were friendly and spoke English, which helped. A bit crowded inside, but the outdoor seating made up for it. Good spot if you're in the area.

The lighting in there is just right—soft, warm, not that harsh glare you get in so many places. We did the tasting menu and honestly, the food was spot on. Our waiter even mixed something custom for me when I couldn't decide. Felt really looked after. Only tiny thing, pacing was a bit slow between courses, but I didn't mind much.

Food was great and my fillet was cooked too perfection. The staff working here made this night for me! very attentive, accommodating and welcoming. Thankyou!

Lovely peppermint tea with real fresh leaves, and the blankets outside were a nice touch. Pricey, but you pay for the square view.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Food was solid, service friendly. The old building gives it a nice touch. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

Nice little beer garden right by the abbey. House beer was solid, prices fair for the location. Good spot to grab a drink without breaking the bank.

Stopped by for a chai latte and honestly it’s one of the best I’ve had in a while. Place had that local vibe, regulars just chatting around. Felt pretty welcoming. Not a fancy spot, but it doesn’t need to be. Just solid and warm.

Decent spot. Food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. Lots of menu options too. Took cards which was handy.

The homemade Cordon Bleu was solid, and that pumpkin seed ice cream caught me off guard—really good. Salads looked fresh too. Place was a bit busy but fine.

The menu made me laugh—jokes scattered everywhere, plus English and German versions which helped. Food was solid, but that coffee mousse for dessert really stood out. They even brought a little complimentary shot at the end, and I think they had a non-alcoholic option too. Staff were nice about it. Fun spot.

Loved the new look after the renovation – the beer garden is such a vibe 🌿 Perfect spot to hang out with friends over drinks. Service was quick too!

Came back for the schnitzel again, Vuk always takes care of us. Fire was roaring, just as good as last time.

Service was solid - our waitress checked in just enough without hovering. Maultaschen came out hot and tasted homemade. Nothing fancy, but you can tell they care about what they do.

The fried rice and sweet & sour chicken were solid. Flavor was on point, portions decent for the price. Service was a bit slow though, waitress looked overwhelmed. Took a while to get the bill. Fine if you're not in a hurry, but don't expect quick in-and-out.

Stopped by this place while in Wangen and honestly, the backyard garden got me. Such a calm spot to sit and eat. Had a solid meal, nothing fancy, but the historic building around you makes it feel different. Staff were nice too. Maybe a bit busy when I went, but fine.

The hot stone steak was the star—cooked right at the table, exactly how I like it. Sides were decent too. Service got a bit slow once it got busy, but the food made up for it.

The schnitzel was the real deal. Crispy, juicy, and big enough to skip the starter. Beer was cold too, though the steak was just okay.

Stopped here on the way through. Easy off the highway and plenty of parking. Hotel was fine for the kids. Ended up eating at the Turkish place next door since the hotel kitchen was closed. Solid enough.

The Tafelspitz was solid—tender, flavorful, exactly what I wanted. Beer list had plenty of options too. Didn't care much about the decor, but the food did the talking.

Food was solid, staff actually nice and they had an English menu which helped. Parking's a pain though, better off cycling or taking the bus. Had the schnitzel, pretty decent portion. Place was busy but not chaotic. Fine for a casual dinner if you're in the area.

Solid food and a proper wine list, cocktails were on point too. Pricey, but you're paying for the whole experience up there. Fine for a treat.
