Late lunch with friends was perfect! The sukiyaki and sushi were so good. Only thing is you might have to wave a bit to get the staff’s attention. 😅

Cozy, unpretentious spot. Service was friendly and made us feel right at home. The grilled fish was cooked just right, flaky and moist. Portion was a bit on the smaller side for the price, but the flavors were spot on.

Owner bakes everything himself. Hours depend on his health, so each visit feels special.

Been coming here for years. Even when I showed up right after closing once, they still let me in and made me a bowl of ramen. It's that kind of consistent, no-fuss service that keeps me coming back. The broth is always the same—warm and steady.

The ankake yakisoba is the reason I keep coming back. The thick, savory sauce clings perfectly to the noodles, and the cabbage stays crisp. Gyoza are solid too, crispy on one side. It's always packed, but the food is reliable.

The anchovy butter potatoes were fantastic. They paired perfectly with a crisp white wine. A very welcoming and clean spot.

The Hokkaido uni and ikura were super fresh. But the highlight was the seared anago—that crispy skin on the outside while the inside stayed so tender. Just perfect.

Came for the sushi counter experience. Watching the chef slice the fish so precisely was almost meditative. The uni was particularly sweet and creamy today. A bit pricey, but you can taste the difference.

Had the premium nigiri set for lunch. The scallops and fatty tuna were really nice, and the rice was just right. A solid sushi spot, though the price is a bit on the higher side.

Parking right out front is a huge plus. Got there right at opening on a Saturday and it was already filling up. Good for a quick, no-fuss lunch.

They were so nice to seat us even though we came in right before closing. The place was quiet and cozy, perfect for a late dinner. Service was really friendly, which made the whole thing feel relaxed.

Stumbled in after a snowy walk. The salmon sashimi was really delicate, and the sweet shrimp had this great flavor. Tempura was light and crispy, especially the prawn. Just hit the spot.

They made a custom vegetarian meal for me when I messaged ahead. It was nice not to have any of the strong-smelling veggies. The space itself is really calm and quiet, which I liked.

Convenient spot for a break in the tourist area. The iced matcha latte was a nice surprise—not too sweet, just a bit earthy. Perfect for people-watching after a long walk.

Fresh sashimi and a cold beer for lunch. Prices are a bit high for the area, but the fish is good.

Visited the original Hokkaido ice cream shop from 1919. The history is lovely. I appreciated their classic recipe—simple ingredients, just fresh milk and cream. You can really taste the quality. A nice, clean treat.

Uni and bluefin tuna were fresh, but the sushi donburi bowl really stood out. Staff took their time explaining things, which was nice. Felt like a proper, relaxed meal.

Stopped by for lunch. The old fire station vibe is cool, very retro. Sat at the counter by myself, felt nice and easy. Food was decent. A solid spot.

The herring sashimi and sushi were a nice seasonal treat. Service was attentive, though the pacing between courses felt a bit rushed.

A nice spot away from the main streets. The counter seating feels personal and the chef was attentive. The set lunch was decent, though the dessert was just fine. Good for a quiet meal.

The senior ladies running the place are so kind and work together perfectly. Service was quick and polite.

I highly recommend this place for its high-quality ingredients and delicious sea urchin dishes. The proprietress is very friendly and adds a personal touch to the dining experience.

The counter seating is the best. Watching the chef work up close made the whole meal feel special.
