The crab rice bowl is nice, you get to eat it two ways. But for the price, I expected a bit more crab meat.

The hayashi rice sauce has a deep, rich flavor from long simmering. A classic done right.

Helpful picture menu, staff understood basic English. Made ordering straightforward.

The aburi salmon with Hokkaido butter was lovely. The seafood tasted incredibly fresh, which I really appreciate.

A short walk from the Authent Hotel Otaru. The wine list was solid, though the pairing suggestions were a bit basic.

Been coming here for years. The grilled pork is always spot on, even with the wait.

A solid late-night spot by the canal. The grilled skewers were juicy and cooked just right. Cozy vibe for a casual drink. It's nice they're open later than most places around here.

The sushi set lunch is a solid choice. The seats are comfortable, which made my solo lunch very relaxing.

The retro toys and games are a nice touch, but honestly, I just loved how cozy it felt. Like being in a friend's living room. Very relaxed.

Came for a quick business dinner. The cheese spring roll was solid, the fried chicken was crispy enough to order a second plate. Good for small bites and drinks after work.

Ordered a few pieces a la carte. The uni and ikura were really fresh. Portions are decent for the price, I'd say. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for here.

The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere felt really cozy. I just had a simple lunch here, but it was a very pleasant break in the day.

Late dinner spot when everything else is shut. The hamburger steak with mushroom sauce was a solid choice for the price.

The seasoned egg ramen was good, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Easy ordering on the tablet. Food came fast on the belt. Kids loved watching it. Decent ramen, nothing fancy. Good for a quick lunch.

Clean and quiet spot, free Wi-Fi is a plus. Staff kept wiping down tables and counters the whole time we were there. It’s nice to see them paying attention to that.

Been coming here for years. It’s the real deal, feels like stepping into old Tokyo. The grilled chicken skewers are always spot on, just the right amount of salt. A bit smoky inside, but that’s part of the charm. Solid place.
