The cheesecake was a highlight. Ordered one for a colleague's birthday lunch. It was rich and not overly sweet, which the whole table appreciated. Good portion size for sharing.

They squeezed us in last minute, even with the dog. The nasi goreng was spot on. Music did get a bit much later though.

The Sunday carvery was the standout. The roast beef was cooked just right, and the Yorkshire puddings were spot on.

The chicken jalfrezi was tasty, and the soy sauce chicken pieces were nice too. What really stood out was the service—our server was so friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It made for a very relaxed, comfortable meal.

Service was spot on. Quick, friendly, and the waiter had a bit of cheeky banter that made us laugh. Felt relaxed the whole time.

Proper Cornish pasty, the pastry was flaky and the steak filling generous. Good value for the price.

Popped in for a bacon sarnie and a hot chocolate. Both were spot on and didn't cost the earth. Staff were dead friendly. Just a nice, easy start to the day.

Been coming here for years, and the food's always been solid. But lately? It's just gotten even better. Noticed it on the steak last week - cooked perfectly, every time. That consistency keeps me coming back.

A lovely little place, fresh and friendly. The menu's simple but everything we ordered was tasty. The team really stood out - so bright and bubbly, they made the whole visit. Service was definitely the highlight for us.

Breakfast downstairs had a lot to choose from. I went for the full Cornish breakfast and it was just right, especially the poached eggs on my toast. Really hit the spot.

Nice spot right on the beach. The staff were friendly and the setting was lovely for a relaxed lunch. The fish and chips were pretty good, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. A decent place overall.

What a fantastic evening at Port Gaverne restaurant ! Lovely, friendly and extremely helpful staff and the food was sublime.

Lovely spot tucked away in a quiet, green area. Just the right kind of place to switch off for a bit.

Took a group of 41 for Sunday lunch. The team handled the big booking without a hitch, service was smooth and attentive. Everyone had a lovely time. The roast was spot on, proper gravy. Felt well looked after.

Great spot for a quick bite before visiting the castle. The almond cherry croissant was fresh and became my go-to.

Been coming here for years. The coffee's always good, strong and consistent. Staff are friendly, know the regulars. It's a solid local spot, nothing fancy.

The breakfast pancakes were a total hit with the kids, which is saying something. Love the relaxed, airy vibe in here—lots of natural light and comfy booths. Makes for a really easy morning.

Pastry was firm but not hard, fillings moist and creamy. A clear step up from their other location in town.

Lovely spot to stop after a walk around the lake. The setting in the gardens is just right. We shared a slice of their lemon drizzle cake with a pot of tea. The cake was moist, not too sweet. A nice, quiet pause.

Owners clearly care. Had the triple-decker sandwich and a flat white. Coffee was spot on. Good beans. That homemade honey on the side was a nice touch. Solid spot.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The Cornish pasty was lovely - proper flaky pastry and a really generous filling. The latte was smooth too. Staff were very friendly, which made it a really pleasant, easy stop.

The staff are friendly and efficient, which is a plus. Makes it a good spot for a quick bite or coffee.

Popped in for a late lunch while in St Austell. The staff were so kind and attentive, which made it a really relaxing stop. My fish and chips were lovely, and the whole place felt spotless and cosy. A very pleasant, hassle-free meal.

The beer garden is such a nice spot to catch up with friends on a sunny day. They have a solid choice of beers, which is perfect for a casual hangout. Really welcoming vibe.

The pistachio croissant was a highlight, the pastry was perfectly crisp. But for £4.50, I did expect it to be a bit bigger. The sausage roll was decent, good portion for the price.

Took the family of four here. Mains, drinks, and desserts for a price that felt fair. Portions were decent, nothing felt stingy. The kids' plates were cleaned, which says it all really.

A nice spot for a drink overlooking Downderry. The bar prices are a touch high, but the local vibe is lovely.

Been coming here for years, their Sunday roast is the real deal. The beef was so tender it just fell apart. Roasties and veg spot on as always. Nice they let us bring the dog in too, makes it easy.
