A nice spot for a drink overlooking Downderry. The bar prices are a touch high, but the local vibe is lovely.

Been coming here for years, their Sunday roast is the real deal. The beef was so tender it just fell apart. Roasties and veg spot on as always. Nice they let us bring the dog in too, makes it easy.

Got a dairy allergy. They made a cheeseless pizza no problem. The cheesy chips were the real deal though. Actually cheesy. Solid.

Been coming here for years, always get the same thing. Food's just as good as it was when I first started. Staff are friendly, but they're always in a bit of a rush.

Been coming here for years when in Newquay. The breakfast is consistently good, especially the veggie options. Coffee's solid. Staff are friendly. It's a nice, relaxed spot. Can get a bit busy on weekends, but that's to be expected.

The cheesecake was a highlight. Ordered one for a colleague's birthday lunch. It was rich and not overly sweet, which the whole table appreciated. Good portion size for sharing.

They squeezed us in last minute, even with the dog. The nasi goreng was spot on. Music did get a bit much later though.

Proper Cornish pasty, the pastry was flaky and the steak filling generous. Good value for the price.

What a fantastic evening at Port Gaverne restaurant ! Lovely, friendly and extremely helpful staff and the food was sublime.

Took a group of 41 for Sunday lunch. The team handled the big booking without a hitch, service was smooth and attentive. Everyone had a lovely time. The roast was spot on, proper gravy. Felt well looked after.

Been coming here for years. The coffee's always good, strong and consistent. Staff are friendly, know the regulars. It's a solid local spot, nothing fancy.

Pastry was firm but not hard, fillings moist and creamy. A clear step up from their other location in town.

Lovely spot to stop after a walk around the lake. The setting in the gardens is just right. We shared a slice of their lemon drizzle cake with a pot of tea. The cake was moist, not too sweet. A nice, quiet pause.

The staff are friendly and efficient, which is a plus. Makes it a good spot for a quick bite or coffee.

Popped in for a late lunch while in St Austell. The staff were so kind and attentive, which made it a really relaxing stop. My fish and chips were lovely, and the whole place felt spotless and cosy. A very pleasant, hassle-free meal.

The beer garden is such a nice spot to catch up with friends on a sunny day. They have a solid choice of beers, which is perfect for a casual hangout. Really welcoming vibe.

Took the family of four here. Mains, drinks, and desserts for a price that felt fair. Portions were decent, nothing felt stingy. The kids' plates were cleaned, which says it all really.

A decent spot within the resort. The veal was pretty good, cooked just right. Breakfast options were fine, though the coffee was a bit weak. A solid choice for a relaxed meal.

The staff were so kind when I had a mix-up with my salad order. Really appreciated how they handled it.

Loved the calm atmosphere here. The staff were so welcoming and attentive, they even asked about dietary needs and had gluten-free options. It made the whole experience feel really relaxed and considered.

Busy lunchtime but the staff were still cheerful. The seafood feast looked stunning, tasted even better. Had the grilled scallops and they were spot on.

Staff here are super friendly and attentive. The place gets packed but they handle the rush well. Love that it's a family-run spot supporting other local producers.

Just popped in for a quick bite. The pasta was clearly fresh and homemade, which was nice. Prices are fair for what you get.

Good selection of gluten-free dishes. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the smoothie was fresh. The kids enjoyed it. A solid choice for a family meal.

That signature sando was something else. The bread had a perfect crisp, and the filling was just the right balance. Coffee was spot on as well. Staff were really helpful when I asked about the ingredients. A solid lunch spot.

Been grabbing lunch here for ages. Sausage rolls are top-notch, flaky pastry every time. Jam donuts are a nice treat to finish. Quick service, in and out.

Been coming here for years, and the BLT with their homemade coleslaw is the reason. It's always just right—crisp bacon, fresh bread, good portion. That consistency keeps me coming back. A solid local spot.

The pastry on these pasties is unreal – so flaky and crisp! Tried the steak & stilton and the lamb & mint. The lamb one was a bit different than I imagined, but honestly, still so good.

Lovely, cosy pub. The fire was lit, and the whole place just felt warm and welcoming. Had the steak and ale pie - proper comfort food, really hit the spot. Just a nice, relaxed evening.
