Been coming here for years, and the mixed seafood platter is why. Salmon, squid, mackerel, prawns, scampi - it's always fresh, never a letdown. The chips and slaw are spot on. That upstairs bit is my go-to for a quiet bite.

Been here a few times now. The staff are always friendly, and I appreciate how spotless the loos are kept. It's a reliable spot.

Staff were really helpful with our big group and dietary needs, even on a busy Saturday.

Stopped in for a morning coffee, really good. Came back for dinner later. The chicken burger was solid, juicy patty. Beef ragu pizza had a nice, slow-cooked richness to the sauce. One drink order got mixed up, but they sorted it fast.

The cod was huge, flaky, and the batter was spot on. Chips were just right too, not too soft or hard. Really hit the spot after a long walk.

Nice old-school pub, feels proper cosy. The landlord's a good laugh, makes you feel right at home. Decent choice of beers on tap too.

The staff here are so lovely and really make you feel looked after. They even swapped out the fillings in my afternoon tea sandwiches without any fuss!

The lamb platter was huge, easily fed two. The meat was good quality and everything tasted fresh, especially the tzatziki.

Been coming here for years, and the consistency is what keeps me coming back. The staff always remembers us, even on busy nights. Food’s just as good as the first time.

The staff are so nice and quick to clear plates. Makes the whole meal feel relaxed.

The chicken noodle soup was the highlight. It had that proper home-cooked feel, with a clear, savoury broth and tender chicken. The noodles were just right. That's what I came for.

We had a great evening, really relaxed. The food was outstanding, and the staff were so polite. Just a lovely spot for a quiet meal.

Been coming here for years. Always a solid choice for a Sunday dinner, and the veggie option is consistently good.

This restaurant offers an impressive all-vegan menu with a variety of delicious dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a great dining experience.

Came here for breakfast and the staff were so friendly! I had the avocado toast with a poached egg, and the yolk was just runny enough. It's a cosy spot, really enjoyed it.

Been here a few times. They've got a good range of beers and the cocktails are well made, you can tell the staff put thought into them. Nice spot for a group or just a quiet pint.

The Sunday roast is a proper treat! The beef was so tender, and the roasties were spot on. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with mates.

The Lamb Karahi here is a standout. The meat was so tender, cooked perfectly in that rich, spicy gravy. Sheesh kebab was good too. Honestly, didn't expect to find such solid Indian food tucked away here. Portions are generous for the price.

I love the vanilla and lemon sorbet swirl here. It's a really refreshing combo, not too sweet. The seating was a bit tight, but the staff were so friendly and helpful. A lovely, simple treat.

The homemade pies are a bargain and very tasty. I liked the simple, no-fuss vibe in here – just a solid spot for a good-quality bite with your pint. The wooden tables and benches felt proper cosy.

The ham and egg Benedict was the highlight for me. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise was light and not too rich. The ham tasted really fresh, which I always appreciate. A solid choice for a healthier brunch option.

Service was really attentive, they noticed our water glasses were low without us having to ask. Food came out at a nice pace, not rushed at all. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Just a solid, well-run evening.

Just stopped by for a quick bite. The portions are huge for the price, honestly. Got the pasta and could barely finish it. Food was solid.

The team was really cheerful, even though we showed up near closing. They didn't rush us at all, which was nice. Food came out quickly and was still hot. Good service when you're cutting it close.

Popped in for a quick bite. The Portuguese custard tarts were the highlight, really lovely. The chilli bowls are still on the menu too. Staff were friendly and it's nice they allow dogs. Just a clean, simple spot for a break.

Staying nearby so popped in. The lamb biryani was packed with flavour, and the portion was huge – I had leftovers for lunch the next day. Really good value.

The place is quiet and pleasant. I like the soft lighting and the comfortable chairs, makes it easy to relax. Good spot for a casual dinner.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfast is always spot on. It’s the consistency that keeps me coming back. Gets busy, so you might have to queue a bit, but that’s part of it.
