A local tipped me off about this pub. Staff were really friendly. The outdoor area looks like it’ll be great in summer.

First time here, the flatbreads and calamari were spot on. The owner even made some garlic mayo for us on request, really nice touch.

They had dog treats ready for our pup, which was a nice touch. Makes it easy to stop by with the furry one.

The kitchen is spotless, which you can see from the open counter. It's a nice detail that makes you feel comfortable about the food. The menu has some solid choices, and everything we've tried has been consistently good.

The bottomless brunch is a solid deal. Chris kept the mimosas flowing, which was the real highlight for me. He was really on top of it. The food was fine, but honestly, the steady pour made the whole afternoon.

Big group for a birthday. The food platter was the star – cheeseburgers were juicy, halloumi fries perfectly salty. Reese, our host, kept the energy up and had us laughing all night. Solid spot for a crowd.

Been coming here for years. Staff are always friendly, makes it a nice place to be.

Decent spot for a pre-show bite. The portions are generous, which is just what you want before an event. My pasta was pretty good, though the sauce was a touch heavy. Got us sorted without a rush.

The chocolate orange cake was light and not too sweet, went well with my coffee. But at £6.50 for a slice, I did pause for a second. It's a nice treat, just a bit pricey for the portion.

Love that they let me bring my dog inside! Had a quick drink and a snack with my pup at my feet. It's just so nice not to have to leave her outside. Made catching up with a friend way easier.

Super cosy spot, love the vibe. The lemon meringue cake was a proper Yorkshire portion, really hit the spot. Coffee walnut was nice too. Just a really comfortable place to sit for a bit.

As a vegan, I was really impressed with the options here. The mushroom risotto was creamy and flavourful, and they were happy to make a few dishes vegan for us. The staff were lovely and even brought water for our dog. A solid find.

Love this little cafe, it's tucked away from the main roads. Felt like a proper local spot, so peaceful. Just what we needed for a proper catch-up with the girls, no shouting over the noise! The quiet vibe was perfect.

Stopped by this American diner in Whitby. The burger was huge and really hit the spot. Good, simple food. Staff were friendly and quick.

Love the beer garden here, it's such a nice spot. Ordered one of their hand-made pizzas, and it was really good. They've got vegan choices as well, which is a plus. My only thing is, for the portion size, the price felt a bit on the higher side.

The pizza here is a solid choice. The crust had a nice chew, and the toppings were fresh. I went for the classic Margherita, and it hit the spot. Nothing fancy, but you can count on it.

Came down from Leeds and tried the jal jhal chicken. It was proper spicy, but in a good way. Really enjoyed it. Prices are decent compared to what I'm used to.

Much nicer vibe than the other branches, perfect for a casual catch-up.

Found this place by accident. Had the vegan burger, really solid. Menu's got loads of options for different diets. Good value too.

The lamb shank was cooked just right, fell off the bone. The sauce had a deep, rich flavour that went well with the mash. Portion was huge, couldn't finish it all. That's the main thing for me.

The fish batter was incredibly crisp, just how I like it. The chips had that proper fried texture too. I really appreciated that they had tartar sauce ready on the table – it felt fresh and convenient. A solid choice for a simple, satisfying meal.

Been coming here for years. The Channa brunch is solid, a proper change from the usual eggs and bacon. Their paratha breads are the real star - always fresh and flaky. Decent veggie options too.

I've been searching for a good, no-fuss breakfast spot. This is it. The food was hot, not greasy at all, and the cafe itself was so clean. Just a really pleasant, comfortable place to start the day.

The loaded roasties on the Sunday menu were a real highlight. I was so pleased to see they use fresh, seasonal root vegetables and the gravy was rich but not overly heavy. The portion was generous too. A lovely, wholesome choice for a weekend treat.

Quick service even with a queue for takeaway! Food is cooked fresh to order, which I really appreciate. The staff stayed polite and our dine-in meal arrived promptly. A solid spot for a no-fuss lunch.

A decent pub with a good choice of beers at fair prices. The outdoor seating is pleasant, though it can get a bit busy.

The staff were so kind with my little ones. They even held my newborn for a moment so I could breathe. That small gesture meant everything. The cafe itself is spotless and the cakes are lovely.
