Loved the vibe here. The decor is just beautiful, really sets a relaxed mood for a meal. It felt warm and inviting the moment we stepped in.

Lovely little spot. The vintage decor makes it feel so cosy and inviting. I popped in for a scone - they bake them fresh daily. It was still warm, just perfect with a cup of tea. The staff were very friendly, which made the whole visit really pleasant.

The spinach and blue cheese croquettes were a lovely surprise. The rest of the tapas selection felt solid and authentic.

Ipfu's my usual sushi fix in York. The chicken gyoza are spot on. They had a decent Pinot Noir by the glass that worked surprisingly well with the richer dishes. Always clean, feels relaxed.

The espresso martini was spot on. Strong coffee flavour, not too sweet, and a proper creamy foam on top. The view was a bonus, but honestly, I'd come back just for that drink.

Been living here for years, and this place is a solid choice when you want something different. The food tastes like the real deal. Service is friendly without being over the top. A nice change from the usual.

Early bird menu is solid value. Had the steak special, portion was decent. The free starter was a nice gesture. Service was efficient. Good option for a quick, reasonably priced dinner before 7pm.

Visiting York for Christmas and needed some Vietnamese food. The pho and shrimp cakes were spot on, really hit the spot. The place itself is nice and cosy, just what you want on a cold day.

Stumbled on this spot during a wander through Ripon. The seafood pasta was spot on, tasted just like I remember from Italy. Huge portion too – my friend and I ended up sharing one. Nice to find somewhere you can actually have a proper chat over dinner.

Really liked the vibe here. It's spacious and the decor is cool. Plenty of seats and power sockets, which is a plus. A good spot to just sit with a coffee and watch the world go by for a bit.

Lovely quirky little spot. The staff are so friendly and helpful, really makes you feel welcome. Had a flat white and a slice of their lemon drizzle cake - both were spot on. A nice place to just sit and relax for a bit.

Been to many curry houses, but their bhuna and balti really stood out. The flavours were spot on, rich and deep. Just a solid, satisfying meal.

Been coming here for years. The service is always spot on, they really make you feel looked after. It's a family-run place, and you can tell they care. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for a quiet dinner.

Love the vibe here for a catch-up with mates. The cocktails are spot on - not too sweet, which is a win. We tried a couple of their signatures and they were all really well balanced. Good spot for a relaxed evening out.

They had a little bowl of water and some dog biscuits ready. My dog was happy with the treats, seemed like good quality. That's about all I noticed.

Came for brunch, the food was really well done. Presentation was spot on, looked almost too good to eat. Staff were friendly and had a bit of a chat, which was nice. Solid spot.

Stayed here on a whim. Rooms are spotless and full of character. Andrew and Lucinda are genuinely lovely hosts. The food, both in the restaurant and at breakfast, was really solid every single time. A good spot.

The large cheese and charcuterie board was a decent choice. Good variety of meats and cheeses, and the house red was a pretty good match. A nice, relaxed way to start the evening.

The tapas are perfect for sharing. I loved the vibe here, especially the soft lighting and the gentle hum of conversation. It just felt so cosy and relaxed. The cocktails were a nice touch too.

First time here, and the gluten-free pizza was a proper find. Loads of toppings, and the base was actually good. Nice to have a solid choice for once.

Really liked the vibe here. It's a small, cosy place with nice decor and feels quite warm. Everything was spotless, even the loos. A nice change from the usual chains.

Came for lunch, got the pizza and starter combo with a drink. All that for about £17? Honestly, the portion sizes were generous, especially the pizza. Felt like a proper meal, not a snack. Good deal for what you get.

Grilled peach and pistachio pizza was a standout. The homemade ice cream with a soft biscuit was a good way to end the meal.

The staff were so reassuring about my food allergies. It made me feel really comfortable ordering.

Our server really knew his wines and helped us navigate the menu with our allergies.

A bit tucked away up the stairs, which was nice for a quiet pint. They've got a good range of beers on tap. The 2/3 pint measure is a nice option. My dog was welcome, which is a plus.

The food's always spot on. Had the chilled wine with lunch again - just the right temperature on a warm day. That little detail makes it.

Stumbled in here to escape the rain. The soup was lovely, and the sourdough was spot on. A quiet spot to watch the street. My only note is that the wine list felt a bit limited for such a cozy place.

The Sunday sharing board is massive, plenty for two. The meats were cooked just right, and the veg was lovely. We ended up not needing those extra sides at all. Just a really nice, relaxed meal.

Just popped in for a Guinness after work. The new decor is nice, feels cozy. Pint was spot on. Good place to just sit for a bit as it gets dark outside.
