Came for lunch, got the pizza and starter combo with a drink. All that for about £17? Honestly, the portion sizes were generous, especially the pizza. Felt like a proper meal, not a snack. Good deal for what you get.

Their French toast is the one. Thick cut brioche, soaked through but still holds its shape. The custard isn't too sweet, just rich. Gets that perfect crisp on the griddle. My benchmark now.

Grilled peach and pistachio pizza was a standout. The homemade ice cream with a soft biscuit was a good way to end the meal.

We were a big group for New Year's Eve. The staff were brilliant - really efficient and kept their cool despite the chaos. Food was spot on.

The staff were so reassuring about my food allergies. It made me feel really comfortable ordering.

Our server really knew his wines and helped us navigate the menu with our allergies.

The smashed avocado with feta was a generous portion and nicely presented. The focaccia sandwich fillings looked interesting too.

The burger was juicy, and the homemade ketchup really stood out. Fries were spot on, crispy just how I like them. You can tell they use good ingredients. A solid spot for a casual bite.

The seafood dishes were pretty good, with some interesting spice combinations you don't often see. The place is spotless, and the staff were very attentive. A solid meal.

The fish was fresh, batter nice and crisp. But honestly, the portion felt a bit small for the price. Sat by the beach though, lovely view.

Friendly owners, welcoming vibe. Had the steak frites for a business lunch. Steak was cooked as requested, decent portion. Service was prompt, which is key for a midday meeting. Good spot for a reliable meal near the office.

A bit tucked away up the stairs, which was nice for a quiet pint. They've got a good range of beers on tap. The 2/3 pint measure is a nice option. My dog was welcome, which is a plus.

Found this spot tucked away in York. The lamb birria stew was packed with flavour and so fresh. The staff were really friendly and attentive.

The food's always spot on. Had the chilled wine with lunch again - just the right temperature on a warm day. That little detail makes it.

Stumbled in here to escape the rain. The soup was lovely, and the sourdough was spot on. A quiet spot to watch the street. My only note is that the wine list felt a bit limited for such a cozy place.

Been coming here for years when I'm in Bridlington. The service is always spot on. Had a lovely Pinot Noir with the fish special last time—really worked. Makes the drive over feel justified.

The Sunday sharing board is massive, plenty for two. The meats were cooked just right, and the veg was lovely. We ended up not needing those extra sides at all. Just a really nice, relaxed meal.

The all-you-can-eat deal here is solid. The meat was good quality, not just cheap filler. Servers were quick to refill drinks and clear plates. For what you pay, you definitely get your money's worth.

Service is always quick and efficient. Staff are polite and attentive without being overbearing. Makes for a relaxed lunch break.

Just popped in for a Guinness after work. The new decor is nice, feels cozy. Pint was spot on. Good place to just sit for a bit as it gets dark outside.

The bartender remembered my old fashioned from a month ago. That's the kind of detail you don't forget.

As a local, I'm glad they have a proper vegan menu. The pea protein 'fish' was spot on and actually tasted good.

The poke bowls are really fresh and the portions are generous. I liked the fish tacos too, the pico de gallo tasted authentic. The space itself is nice and bright, good for a casual lunch.

Been coming here for years, and the onion bhajis are the reason. They’re always just right – crispy outside, soft inside, never greasy. That consistency keeps me coming back.

The spicy sauce on my shawarma was spot on. Not too overpowering, just a nice warmth that worked really well with the fresh salad and meat. Made a good wrap even better.

The team here is just lovely. They took the time to talk us through the menu and even sorted out a little birthday surprise with the dessert, which was a really nice touch. Felt very looked after.

Solid spot for a drink. The real ales are well-kept, which is nice. The staff behind the bar were happy and helpful, just a good vibe all round.

Been here a few times now. The food is always spot on – the lamb shank last night was cooked perfectly, just fell off the bone. Staff are really friendly, remember your name. A solid local.

Staff were so nice, especially the doorman who helped us out. Made the evening really smooth. Just a heads up, you'll want to book ahead if there's music on.

Been coming here for years, and the Gang Panaeng is my go-to. It's always got that same deep, spicy kick I ask for. Never disappoints.
