Lovely spot for lunch. The service was really on point, attentive without being overbearing. Had the grilled salmon, cooked just right. Nice and relaxed vibe in there.

The staff here are so good with kids! They were really patient and helpful when my little nephew got a bit fussy. Made our group lunch way less stressful. A big plus for a noisy table like ours.

Came for the live music. Good vibe, decent crowd. Music was a nice touch, made the evening. Got a quick bite, burger was fine. Solid spot if you want something casual with a bit of energy.

The steak pie was fantastic, really generous portion. But the homemade lasagne was the highlight for me. You could tell it was fresh, packed with flavour and arrived piping hot. Just what you want from proper pub food.

A cosy little pub. The chicken platter was a real surprise – so pretty on the plate and cooked just right. Flavours were spot on. A proper treat.

Finally got around to trying their Sunday roast. The beef was so tender it just fell apart, and those roast potatoes were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The gravy was spot on too. Properly hit the spot on a grey Sunday.

Really liked the vibe here, felt safe and relaxed. The door team, Gee, Baba and Xavier, were spot on - made sure everyone was comfortable. You don't get that everywhere.

Great for catching up with friends! The staff were really nice and the food was fresh. It does get busy though, so maybe book ahead.

The 2-for-1 cocktails are always a good shout. It's just a solid, dependable place for a drink. The vibe is always easy, never feels like they're trying too hard.

Been here a few times. They've got a good range of beers and the cocktails are well made, you can tell the staff put thought into them. Nice spot for a group or just a quiet pint.

The homemade pies are a bargain and very tasty. I liked the simple, no-fuss vibe in here – just a solid spot for a good-quality bite with your pint. The wooden tables and benches felt proper cosy.

Service was really attentive, they noticed our water glasses were low without us having to ask. Food came out at a nice pace, not rushed at all. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Just a solid, well-run evening.

The wagyu sharing board is the reason I keep coming back. The meat was so tender it practically melted, and the portion was generous for the price. A solid choice if you're focused on the food.

Stayed a few nights for work. The room was quiet even facing the road. The breakfast was really good, but the portion for the evening meal felt a bit small for the price. Still, the staff were lovely.

Been coming here for years. Their Sunday roast beef is always spot on, and they know how to do a proper gluten-free plate. Gravy's top notch. It's a reliable spot for a decent lunch.

Came with friends and we split the giant Yorkshire pudding special. It was massive! The roast beef inside was so tender, and the gravy was perfect. We were all stuffed afterwards, but in the best way. Great for sharing.

Been coming here for years for their Sunday roast. The Yorkshire puddings are always spot on - proper homemade ones, never a letdown. That's the main reason I keep coming back. The sides are decent too, you get a good choice.

Booked last minute. The food was spot on – my steak was cooked perfectly, hot, and the portion was huge. Staff were friendly, made you feel welcome. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Paige was lovely, really friendly and professional. The lager was spot on, poured perfectly and ice cold. Just what you want on a warm evening.

Nice spot for a drink. The view of the harbour is the main draw, really lovely on a sunny afternoon. Staff were friendly, place had a cozy feel. Just what I was after.

The portions are huge for what you pay. Got the shepherd's pie and it was a proper, hearty plate of homemade food. Felt like a proper meal.

Came here on a whim and Vicki was so lovely. She recommended the truffle arancini as a starter and it was spot on - crispy outside, really creamy inside. A nice little find.

Easy to get in, no steps at the door which is a plus. Ordered on the app, quick and simple. Food came out fast, no fuss. Just a straightforward spot for a bite.

A decent spot for dog owners. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced, and they have a nice selection of beers.

Stopped in after a long hike. The staff were so nice—they let us sit outside with our muddy boots and even brought water for the dog. Food was good, no fuss. Just what we needed.

Love the quirky old building, feels like a cosy hideaway. Had the roast beef and pork dinners, portions were just right. Dessert was a bit smaller than the menu made it seem, but still tasty. A nice spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

A local tipped me off about this pub. Staff were really friendly. The outdoor area looks like it’ll be great in summer.

Been coming here for years. Staff are always friendly, makes it a nice place to be.
