Stopped by for a late lunch and shared the Greek salad with a pizza. Salad was huge — easily enough for two. Really hit the spot.

Great spot right on the square. Breakfast was solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Place gets busy fast, so grab a seat early.

Loved that they let you order half rolls. Got to try way more without blowing the budget. Portions felt right for the price.

The chicken gyro platter was really good—meat was juicy and the briam had that homey veggie taste. Owners actually seemed to care, made the place feel welcoming. Stayed a bit longer than planned just chatting. Only thing, the pita could've been warmer, but honestly didn't mind.

Stopped by for a takeaway americano near Exarcheia. Cup was properly big, not one of those tiny things. They gave cold water on the side too, which I always appreciate. For the price, felt fair for the size. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a quick caffeine fix.

The Greek salad with pickled caper leaves was the standout—so fresh. Grilled octopus was good too, though a bit small for the price.

The stuffed mushrooms were the real highlight—warm, cheesy, just the right amount of filling. Pizza was decent too, nothing crazy but solid. Patio seating felt nice, not too crowded. Staff checked in enough without hovering. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

That apple crumble pancake was incredible. The cheesecake one’s good too, but I kept thinking about the first one.

We stopped by for a late lunch and the pizza really hit the spot. Crust was just right, not too thick. I’m picky about seating and we got a nice table by the window, so that was a plus. Service was friendly and let us take our time. Already thinking about going back before we leave Athens.

We showed up almost 40 minutes late for our booking, and they still kept the table for us. Even checked in to see if we were alright. Food came out quick too, which I appreciated since we were starving. Solid spot if you're running behind and don't want to lose your reservation.

The lamb in lemon sauce was the dish I kept thinking about after leaving. Tender, properly seasoned, the sauce had that sharp citrus bite that cuts through the fat. Old-school Cretan cooking done right. Parking was easy, but honestly the price felt a little steep for what you get. Still, that lamb alone makes it worth stopping by.

The grilled sea bass was spot on, and sitting that close to the water made it even better. Service was friendly without hovering. Just wish the house wine came in a bigger pour.

Came for the sunset, honestly didn’t expect much from the food. But the fried feta with honey was the standout—salty, sweet, still sizzling when it hit the table. Sardines were good too, fresh and properly marinated. Place is super casual, right by the water. Just wish they’d bring the bill a bit faster, we waited a while.

Stopped by for a late lunch after wandering around Exarcheia. The falafel wrap hit the spot—crispy, fresh, not greasy. I grabbed a cold beer to go with it, which worked better than I expected. Place has a fun, colorful vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Chili con carne was solid too. Decent prices for the area.

Clean sand, clear water, and the staff actually pay attention. Food and drink prices were fair. Just wish they’d mentioned the entrance fee upfront—caught me off guard.

The pulled pork burger was really tasty, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Prices are a bit steep though.

The beetroot tzatziki was really good. Lemon butter shrimp came out fast too. Only downside - outdoor seating is tiny. Grabbed a quick lunch and was in and out.

Stopped here after a walk along the coast. The chicken with capers and lemon was really good, plenty of flavor. Portion size was decent for the price, not huge but fair. It’s a bit of a wait when it’s busy, but the garden seating makes up for it. Would go back if I’m in the area again.

Loved the outdoor seating here. Pastries are so light, no heavy butter aftertaste. Service was a bit slow though, so maybe call ahead.

Came here for the view, stayed for the gyros. Got a mix with burgers for the table, everything came out quick and fresh. Not fancy, but solid. Place was busy but we got a table easy. Fine for a casual bite, nothing more.

Been coming here for years. Lamb chops still the best around - crispy outside, juicy inside. Tzatziki's fresh, salad's good too. Place gets busy but service keeps up fine. Only thing is it can get loud when full, but that's expected. Solid spot for a proper Greek meal.

The lamb chops were properly grilled, juicy inside. They even brought out a little dessert on the house at the end. Place is a bit tucked away, but worth finding for honest Greek cooking.

Loved the bread selection here — so many options, and everything tasted properly fresh. The dips were the highlight for me, especially the tzatziki. Prices felt fair for what you get. Wish I had more room to try the sweets, but I’ll definitely grab some next time.

Came for the buffet, left full. Sushi was surprisingly decent for this kind of spot—not fancy, but fresh enough. Lots of options, so you can graze for a while. Service kept up even when it got busy. Just call ahead if you're coming on a weekend, place fills up quick. Solid if you're hungry and don't want to overthink it.

The cocktails keep me coming back every time. Interior’s got a nice vibe too. Staff tried their best despite the language thing. Solid spot in the area.

Came here on a whim and honestly left surprised. The portions are massive, way bigger than what I’m used to seeing in most places around Europe. And the price? Lower than I expected for the amount of food. I barely finished half my plate, but no complaints there. If you’re hungry and on a budget, this is a solid pick.

The daily special here is where it’s at. I got the pasta of the day and honestly, the portion was huge for what they charged. Could easily split it with someone. Place feels like a home kitchen, not fancy at all, but you leave full without spending a fortune. Just ask what’s fresh that day.

The staff were so lovely, honestly made the whole vibe better. We came with a group of friends and they were super patient with us taking forever to decide 😅 Food was proper hearty home cooking, portions big enough that nobody left hungry. Nothing fancy but sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

The gyros platter was huge—honestly enough for two people. Price was fair for what you get. Casual spot, nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Stumbled onto this place by accident and so glad we did. The fish was genuinely the best I had in Greece—fresh, simple, cooked right. No fuss, just good food. Prices fair for what you get. Wish I'd found it earlier in the trip.
